Spidookly - my DDs are 6 and 4 and so easy these days that it does feel crazy to start all over again, but we are really pleased so fx it all goes ok, it's still such early days as AF not even due yet.

So tempted to go and test. Im not due until next sunday but the cheapy internet tests are screaming at me to go and pee.

Don't know if you saw this thread, but I thought you might be able to offer this woman some knowledgeable advice and support. Don't mean to intrude if too personal, but you seem so comfortable about your decision I thought your perspective would be better than most. :)

Hey Shelbury congrats on the BFP!! I hope i join you for a Dec 1st baby. Spidookly I am also waiting for Af date to test. Everytime i test early i go into a major sulk then convince myself i must have tested to early to register!!! How are your last few days of waiting going for you? Me not too bad apart from the most gorgeous dream last night where i was walking around the park in this lovely spring weather with my baby. The symptom spotting has even crept into my dreams!!
I have not given up drinking but i am stopping myself after a couple of glasses of wine. I mainly drink at the weekend anyway so i.don't feel too compelled to give up in my 2 ww.
How come the weekend had come to an end too quick! !!

Well Im out, af got me early .
Feeling quite gutted actually, dont know why I always knew it will take a while.
But I can still stay on this bus, with coming on early, due date if it happens this cycle will still be in december.
I dont drink at all while ttc, partly because Im an extremist also because of my history with mcs.

AF due 21st. 28 day cycle. feeling very slightly nauseous...

Interesting to hear all the booze views - I've really cut down now we're TTC, and so has DH, maybe only a couple of glasses of wine each a week, but we had friends round and the wine just kept getting refilled so I prob had 4 or 5 little glasses, which is loads more than I drink usually. Hence needing chips today.

Good luck all for this week. I'm due AF on Sunday so I am trying to step away from the cheapie tests...

Nothing much to report here except that I may have had a bit of a breakthrough re when I'm ovulating! I've been keeping a diary for the last few months and suddenly remembered some sharp pains that I've had a couple of months...thinking they were early signs of AF I hadn't paid much attention to them but worked out that they all seemed to be around CD25 which if they are Ov a) explains why my cycles have been so long and b) means that we've totally missed the boat with SWI as each month had given up on the regularity by then! So...going to keep up the SWI right the way through this month and see what happens!!

Hi all! Quick update - on Thursday I had a twinge in my left side and lots of EWCM so was pretty sure I was ovulating. Then last night I had slight cramping and a pain in my right side. So I'm not too sure now! Coming off the pill in Feb (and having no period at the end of it) means I'm rather uncertain about my cycle. I was always very regular before the pill. Still, SWI tonight just in case!

Spidookly I'm with you the dreamy wondering is pretty special. I'm trying cut back on caffine, alcohol etc but not denying myself. You're right, I'll be pregnant long enough. And all my favourite things will have to be cut out! Mmmm, cheese, pates and red wine...

Well ladies still no sign of AF and so I am counting myself as a few days in to the 2ww now as I am pretty sure I ovulated a few days ago. Not madly symptom spotting as I am sure my cycle is all over the place but two things happened today to remark on: firstly I got really angry with DH for absolutely no reason, I am talking yell at him in the street angry. Very odd, then I have burst in to tears twice this afternoon/evening. Secondly I have also had sooo much CM, not EWCM more sort of creamy (sorry TMI ).

Will be interesting to see what the next few days holds for me...

Can anyone advise me please? I'm really confused!

I keep track of my cycle using OPK's and also by checking my cervix. I forgot to do my OPK on Friday but wasn't too concerned as the last 2 cycles I have ov'd on CD16 (tomorrow) so therefore expected a +OPK today. I had some EWCM yesterday. My cervix was high and soft at lunchtime and I had loads of EWCM. I got a -OPK at teatime so checked my cervix again and it was lower and harder than earlier, with no EWCM whatsoever.

Should I assume that I have probably ovulated already and would have had a +OPK on Friday? I'll carry on SWI for a few days anyway but obviously want to know when AF is due.

Also does anyone just check their cervix and CM to keep track of their cycle? I'm wondering if OPK's are more trouble than they're worth and whether I should just pay attention to what my body is telling me?

opks aren't said to be too reliable, I don't check my bits but temping is a good way to check that you have ov'd. Too late for this month but if you are unlucky this month you could try that. xx

I'm on cycle day 27 and think I ovulated 6 days ago , but still getting shape pains on my left side . Started panicing it was a cycst last night , it was that noticable . Also my temp is decreasing , not feel below cover line , but getting lower , and no where near as high as it normally is . Think this cycle is a dud !
