Of course xstitch - good to have you aboard :)

Add yourself to the stats when you get a chance.

There are a couple of others with DHs travelling at crucial times, so should be good support.

orangehead · 19/03/2011 19:53

Thats one good motto
Welcome xstitch, its just the place for hand hoding Smile

weimy · 19/03/2011 19:55

DH is away tonight, so am heading to bed soon going to be naughty and let the pack stay on the bed all night. Feel like I need a lot of nuggles and to spend money online.

cookiemonster100 · 19/03/2011 20:20

Hey all! ! Congrats on the bfp and good luck to those waiting to find out!!
CD 23 and desperatly trying not to symptom spot ( inc my snot! ! Thanks Spidooky !! ).

Happy weekend all and may the wicked witch keep away x x

HopefullLittleLAmBie · 19/03/2011 20:34

Thanks Orangehead. Appreciate it.
I'm trying not to worry or get stressed - although having never been pregnant before and being a nurse, therefore programmed to expect the worst, i am prone to an irrational worry day now and again! Blush. Just glad i'm not alone!
I have heard other women say that it's really common to suddenly notice all of the millions of pregnant women that suddenly surround you when you are TTC Envy I feel like i'm cornered by them at the moment, haha...even my DH is noticing it and he never usually spots things like that!
Oh well - we'll keep trying. I have already ovulated this month but i'm liking Poppyjen theory of seeing if the moon magic tonight may hold the answer!! Grin

Iggly · 19/03/2011 20:50

spidookly I think I love you a little bit, you make me Grin

I will test again tomorrow morning. I was going to wait until Monday but I am Weak!

sevendwarves · 19/03/2011 20:53

Welcome to tonights newcomers!

xstitch unless you have very short cycles you must be on cycle 4, I remember you were on the same cycle as me from a couple of buses ago.

I got a -OPK today but have EWCM, can't believe I forgot to test yesterday! I expect to get a +OPK tomorrow, if not it must have been yesterday. Oh well, if in doubt shag :o

BlueCrane · 19/03/2011 21:12

Hey xstitch glad you made it onto the bus...sorry DP away again Sad here's for a not too stressful 2ww for you!

peapop · 19/03/2011 21:54

Evening all, welcome to all the newbies!

spidookly all of our DP/DH's will love you for that piece of advice ha ha Grin

sillybillymummy · 19/03/2011 22:45

Hello Ladies, due AF next wednesday, got a BFN today :-(
I didn't do anymore SWI'ng when i had these stabbing pains, because i thought it might be implantation, but i wonder if it was ovulation now. DOH!

Iggly · 20/03/2011 06:55

Hi xstitch and silly!

weimy, hope you enjoyed your naughty night Grin

Well POAS this morning and still a faint line but maybe marinally darker. I must be a loon as I was squinting away until it appeared. I'm on CD26 so still too early but judging by when we DTD, I must have ovulated pretty early on. My UCL is 29-31 so plenty of time to wait. I have half convinced mysel that it'll be a chemical one. So saving my superdrugs test (had heard they're good) until later in the week and will use cheapes until then...

Iggly · 20/03/2011 07:08

Apologies for my terrible spelling! Grin

googietheegg · 20/03/2011 07:11

I'm on the 2ww and had a bit of a boozy dinner last night...do you all stop drinking on the 2ww or just carry on as normal? I'm kicking myself this morning.

Welcome newcomers btw! Fx for us all!

sevendwarves · 20/03/2011 08:54

Yay Iggly!

googie I'm trying and failing to cut down on wine

Sassymk · 20/03/2011 09:04

Hi guys, just a quick update.... AF due today, no sign as yet. Tested yesterday BFN and had AF symptoms through the week. This is the first time I've really tracked my cycle so I'm thinking it's longer than 28 days.

Congrats on the BFPs! FX for everyone x

Shelbury · 20/03/2011 09:51

Hi to all fellow passengers

I have been lurking away at the back of a few buses now, trying to convince myself I wasn't broody ( got two DD's already)

Anyway got BFP on Friday from Superdrug tests - so wanted to reassure Iggly that they are really good as that was 9 days PO and 5 days before AF due! Only thing was that both my tests showed really faint lines and so have since followed up with First Response yesterday and got a very clear line.

According to Mumsnet due date is 1st December - v excited and scared too - these threads have kept me sane though over the last few months - thanks to you all for that x

Best of luck to all waiting for their BFP's this week x

belindarose · 20/03/2011 09:59

I've used this as a kick to stop the wine (saving on grocery bills too!) so have given up since coming off the pill. Would probably have a small glass if out with dinner though. Fx for everyone.

belindarose · 20/03/2011 10:01

By the way, DH likes a drink so when pregnant with DD there was often some wine in the house. I have some tiny shot sized wine glasses and allowed myself the occasional one if those. So minuscule it was practically nothing but made me feel better!

HopefullLittleLAmBie · 20/03/2011 10:09

Morning all!
Congratulations Shelbry!!
Keeping everything crossed for youIgly!! I don't think i would be able to function normally for excitment and daydreaming if i got a pink line - no matter how faint!! I'm bad enough already with no pink line!! Blush

I realised this morning that i have added a whole week to my 2WW - I only have to wait until Thursday not til 31st! Like the 2WW doesn't drag enough already as it is!

I try every time to stop drinking for the 2WW but find life gets in the way everytime. I end up drinking to avoid any awkward questions from people who would notice that i'm not drinking! People really do expect newly wedds to be able to just pull the first pregnancy out the bag just like that - easy peasy!! Grr! Angry Sad
I only have 2-3 drinks spread over the weekend and only on a weekend, so hoping thats not too bad Confused [sceptical]

Trying to decide now whether to test before Thursday out of curiosity and impatience or just to wait and see what happens.....hmmm......

Good luck all x

MickyLee · 20/03/2011 10:27

Morning everyone.

Welcome newbies and good luck. Congratulations for the faintlines coming Grin

CD 22 for me and TMI pregnany symptom - Piles :(

Don't feel bad about the wine. I gave up smoking and it has slowly started again over the last week Blush
But bought some gum for tomorrow and giving up again (third time this year already)

Youremindmeofthebabe · 20/03/2011 10:36

Congratulations shel!

Tanif · 20/03/2011 11:49

Good morning everyone! Congratulations for the developing BFPs!

Don't really know where I am at the moment, CM and cervical position seem to change on an hourly basis (not that I spend my days in the toilets at work prodding myself in an experimental manner). Just SWI every night and hoping for the best!

I'm not symptom spotting (which is good as not even on the 2ww yet, I don't know why but I've decided that it's going to take us YEARS, which seems to have alleviated some of the pressure...

Iggly · 20/03/2011 12:14

Congratulations Shelbry!

Oh dear Micky, piles are not good!

Hopeful, I'm living in denial - haven't even worked out a due date yet if this is real. Mainly because of the MC the last time I was preggers! I also don't feel that up duffed today. Ask me again at work when I'm dreaming of swanning out on maternity leave and I'll probably crumble, go to my local boots and buy several a test Grin

sevendwarves · 20/03/2011 12:25

Congratulations shelbury, although you should have joined us rather than lurking at the back!

Any other lurkers come and join the rollercoaster fun!

spidookly · 20/03/2011 13:27

:o

CD25 - pg symptom = raucous farting

Congratulations Shelbury :)

Add yourself to the stats, you're not a lurker any more :)

I would also have a due date of 1st Dec, I think. Can't believe you know already. If no AF I'm not testing until Friday with Cookie and Karbea.

How old are your girls? I have 2 DDs too :)

Micky :o @ piles

I drink extra when TTC - we'll be pregnant long enough :o

(not really, I just drink as normal, but have had a very boozy few days back home)
