Hi all, 24 hours past and still waiting. Not done a test today as just can't face it and i think i have bought boots out, or at least shares in claerblue.

If i am PG why wont my hcg levels rise and if im not where is AF? :( - im usually very regular between 29-30 days. Headfuck tbh

Thank you for the warm welcome guys, if AF does arrive i won't be TOO gutted as will be surrounded by you lovely people.

Still no stats for you yet. Hows everyones 2wws going, torture?

Daiso · 13/03/2011 00:39

My 2WW is up in 4 days ( due on 16th)

Is it worth going to the docs Innocent? Maybe they can shed some light for you.

spidookly · 13/03/2011 07:11

Hi everyone

DH and I went out last night. Together! It was great - hung out with friends, got a little drunk, listened to music :)

Just had some very early morning SWI as our romantic intentions dissipated somehow once we got to bed :o

Popsy - bollocks to freezing techniques! :o those sperm are exactly where you want them if you ov on day 18 :)

Sorry, don't mean to be the voice of hopeless optimism - it's a small chance admittedly. But that kind of takes the pressure off, like a non-league side meeting Manchester Utd in the FA Cup - there can be no real expectations, so you've absolutely nothing to lose. And who knows, you might just win :)

cookie - no, not on 2ww yet. Still have ewcm and ovary twinges, so in the latter stages of fertile period, I think. SWI decreasing in importance every day but still important to keep going at CD18.

Are you on 2ww? I'm not sure I really understand what it is. Is it the but when you're too tired to keep shagging until after your period is finished? (what I thought until recently) or the two weeks after you ov until af is due (what I have come to suspect)?

BlurCrane - I hope you found it comforting talking to your Mum :)

Maybe not quite the legacy you were hoping for, but hopefully good to know a little of the reproductive history of the women in your family.

So tired! See you guys later :)

sevendwarves · 13/03/2011 09:04

spidookly sounds like you had a good night. The 2ww is the time between ovulation and AF or a BFP, where all you can do is wait and we all go a bit mad symptom-spotting and POAS far too early!

Iggly · 13/03/2011 09:39

Hi everyone, including the newcomers!

innocent I recognise you from another bus. I hope something happens soon (preferably a BFP than AF) then you'll know where you are. I second a trip to the docs if no change soon!

I'm on CD 19 I think. No sign of ovulation Hmm or any suspicious BFP symptoms. This is my third cycle post MC where I don't think vie ovulated for any of them. I'm going to the docs after this cycle, I've decided as I'm not impressed!

spidookly · 13/03/2011 10:25

seven - got it

I at first thought it was "waiting" as in "no point in shagging, just sitting about".

But really it is the waning of fertility until you find out whether you're going to have to do it all again.

So yes then cookie, I am in the early, possibly still fertile phase of 2ww.

Iggly - good idea to go to doc if you don't think you're ovulating. They can do amazing things about this particular issue should you need them to (fx you ov soon) :)

InnocentRedhead · 13/03/2011 11:33

Iggly, yeah from november i recognise you, maybe before too...

Doctors does seem like a good idea too, i'm going to give it another week and then speak to them. Had a lot of stress in this cycle... Left my job, had to contend with a lot of family stuff too - too much to go into. But i have being dealing with the stress for a while now and my cycles never messed up.

I'm not hundred percent sure i ovulated though, only got faint results on ov sticks, but i had symptoms of late ovulation - about 3 days after i was due to - i had stopped the ov sticks as run out. Could not ovulating affect AF?

Also had a few PM symptoms, but not as much as usual.

Oh heads a shed.
Sorry it's all me me me but in RL i really dont have any time for me and its nice to unload xx

Just changing my stats, I just realised that for some reason period tracker had my UCL as 35 so my dates were wrong. That now means the earliest day I can realistically test will be my birthday April 3rd. That's a dilemma!

spidookly · 13/03/2011 12:27

Innocent - don't worry about me, me, me, the rest of us haven't that much to be concerning ourselves with yet so happy to let you offload if you need to :)

seven - that is a dilemma. I vote wait. It's a bit early to trust a test and then you might have a miserable birthday for nothing. Exciting possibility beats grim uncertainty, I reckon.

weimy · 13/03/2011 13:49

Not been on here for a little while all got a bit much so had a 2w break but i'm back now and have sorted my head out. Plus DP is watching the rugby. YAWN

TTC#2 Cycle 6, CD13, UCL 26, AF March 26

Has anyone tried Concieve plus? I got 3 free samples with my cheapy OV tests which by the way seem very rubbish hopefully one day they'll say i'm ovulating.

orangehead · 13/03/2011 16:24

I second that docs nmight be good idea for both innocent and Iggly.
Whats conceive plus?

weimy · 13/03/2011 16:42

conceive plus is a sperm friendly lubricant, think it helps the swimmers on their way!

donkir · 13/03/2011 16:44

Do you think it will give them 3x the chance if I use them all in one go lol. Ordinarily I wouldn't have brought it but it was free so everything is worth a shot.

Poppyjen · 13/03/2011 18:17

HI ladies, just tentatively transferring myself from the November bus. AF due, but no BFP so I think I am just playing a waiting game now. Just want her to hurry on up so we can get on with this cycle Smile

Thought if I joined this bus I might start feeling more positive!

If AF starts today, which feels pretty likely, going by the MN due date calculator that would give me a due date of CHRISTMAS DAY Shock if we are successful this time....

Anyway trying to tell myself the game's not up yet for this cycle - but just hedging my bets by joining you guys anyway Smile

spidookly · 13/03/2011 19:42

Welcome Poppy, although AF isn't even late yet so this does feel a little premature :)

I guess you'll give us some POAS excitement though, which will be fun as none of us are at that stage yet!

Did anyone see the thread about not trying to conceive a Christmas baby in AIBU? Covered a lot of stuff we talked about here, but maybe worth a look if you've any wonderings about it (I don't - a birthday's a thing of pretty minor importance in the scheme of things, as I see it.)

Poppyjen · 13/03/2011 19:48

True true spidookly but FR and early test internet cheapies all negative Sad so not optimistic. Will keep testing though Smile

I agree re Christmas birthday - I am sure it has been said before, as long as there is a birthday then that's ok with me Smile, whenever it is.

Iggly · 13/03/2011 20:16

Hi poppy fingers crossed!

spidookly will check out the thread.

BlueCrane · 13/03/2011 20:47

Evening all...another busy day here... soooo sleepy again! Goodness knows how I'll cope when/if I do get PG!! Sounds as though a few docs appointments are in order from what I've read catching up with the thread! And FX for poppyjen

I've had various thoughts about the Christmas baby thing but have definitely concluded that a baby at any time is still my focus rather than being fussy about dates! And my DB has a birthday v close to Christmas and has coped fine...especially as my Grandma decided he should have a summer birthday too so he got two birthday presents each year! Whereas I only got one on my summer birthday!

Now, AF finished last week but had bleeding again today after DTD this morning - should I be concerned about that? My last two AF's have started straight after DTD as well so am a little worried about what's going on?! Plus I seem to have permanent mild cramps which has been going on for last 6-8 weeks or so...just wondering whether I need to go to the docs as well! Confused

Sorry for the long post again...

PopsyWind · 13/03/2011 21:20

Hi Blue Crane

I wouldn't be too worried about AF starting after DTD if it was otherwise normal, but if you've had post-coital bleeding or bleeding in between periods that does need checking out.

If it was just a bit of spotting I don't think it will be anything to worry about.

sevendwarves · 13/03/2011 22:21

Hi poppyjen, I hope you don't need to 'officially' join this bus, in a nice way!

Blue I agree with popsy, I wouldn't be too concerned if it was just spotting. If it was more than that I'd get it checked out. Was it very vigorous (feel free to ignore that question if it's tmi!)?

spidookly I'll avoid that thread, it'll only wind me up!

Poppyjen · 14/03/2011 07:57

Just posted this on November bus thread too so sorry for duplication if any of you are still checking in there Smile

So...had a large glass of last night to help come to terms with AF's anticipated arrival...still nothing this morning but have run out of internet cheapies so did one of my clearblues just for the hell of it.

Faintest faint line.

Is hard to accept that it is a bfp though as I feel like I have POAS so many times that I may be seeing things that aren't there. I think I will pop out to buy a FR later to double check. Also still feel like AF is only one wipe away (sorry TMI!)

Watch this space...

PS just had to check it again before posting this to make sure I am not going mad. Well I can still see it.... but still not convinced

spidookly · 14/03/2011 08:35

Poppy - if you can see it, it's there :)

Congratulations!

I know this is really a November bus BFP, but I think it's good to be on the sort of bus that you just have to flag it down and you're pregnant :o

So pleased for you. What a lovely start to Monday morning :)

Iggly · 14/03/2011 08:51

I know this technically isn't a BFP for our bus but I think this should count as the first BFP Grin congratulations poppy!

Blue I think there's no harm in going to the docs and asking for advice. Dr google might come up with stuff but I wouldn't. Maybe search the MN archives and see what comes up?

It's a lovely day today! Sun is shining!
