GOD ALMIGHTY that was dull. Sorry!

Headbanger · 02/11/2010 16:12

Oooo and PollyLove, I will be vair interested to know what you think about Lucas when you have caught up, cos I haz gone right off him and no mishtake!

Headbanger · 02/11/2010 16:49

I haz killed fred with my consumerist shopping antics Sad Gin.

owlshoes · 02/11/2010 16:51

We're all off leching at boots on other websites now Grin

Am liking the Gin btw. More Gin pliz.

Headbanger · 02/11/2010 17:02

Yes that was a typo a few weeks ago, but I'm sticking to it Gin thanks!

Ariesgirl · 02/11/2010 17:04

Hello BESHes. These are my boots. I love them because I am not posh and just want comfort. HB I adore that coat. It's not like me to be all retaily, but I have been wandering Cardiff's arcades and the new St David's II today and coveting things. I even sucked in my usually utterly shop-phobic mother. The stuff in White Stuff was GORGE. Sorry for being over-excited - we don't have clothes shops in West Cornwall. We wear hessian sacks.

In Other News I am ovulating and it's all going to be wasted. Talk about Mittelschmerz - I've never even had it before and now he's there and I'm here and we're On A Break. Oh the vagaries of fate eh?

owlshoes · 02/11/2010 17:14

I luff those boots too, all of them.

Ariel now is the perfect time to shag one of our resident chaps. Would you prefer the much-depleted DC, the sorry remains of Cap'n Jack or Byron who I just found covered in straw?

And yes, coat is bloody lovely, HB , damn the lot of you, I want to go shopping now and I have less than no money.

Headbanger · 02/11/2010 17:15

Aries!!!!! I can see that those boots must be mega cosy, but whenever I look at completely flat boots I can feel the pain in my own arches/achilles tendon and start wincing and want to say things about 'sensible support' and that sort of thing.

What is White Stuff? Is that a stupid question? Is it a shop dedicated to white clothings?

Oh boo boo boo and hiss to the calamity of ovulating inappropriately. Wouldn't you just fucking know it. ARGH!

Headbanger · 02/11/2010 17:19

The fur collar is detachable! So I shall think of it as being two coats in one, and will ratchet up the Bet Lynch facor as the winter chill sets in. Is also MAZINGLY warm, which will be luffly after last winter, when it barely got above 1 degree for a few weeks and I was cursed with a £15 paper-thin 60s coat from Camden Lock. Cool, and not in the good way.

Ariesgirl · 02/11/2010 17:31

Here is White Stuff. I luffs it.

saltyair · 02/11/2010 18:38

I luffs White Stuff too. More so in the sales..

Hello all

Muser · 02/11/2010 18:49

Those boots are lovely Heads and so is the coat. I have boot envy. I want new boots.

InTheSunshine · 02/11/2010 18:53

I have been having a coat / boot trauma for the past few weeks. I had a luffly coat last year and it got stolen from the gym Angry & now I can't find one I like. I refuse to wear my Ugg boots any more as they have died and they make my knees hurt.

PrincessBoo · 02/11/2010 19:09

Oooh boots and coats.

I have a lovely red coat which I bought from H&M last year which is still lovely - but I am a bit jealous of Mountainhorse as the red duo boots would look marvellous with it. Although maybe a little too red. Can one have too much red?

I also have some buttersoft leather dents gloves that MrB bought me two Christmases ago and they are my absolute favourite. I need some short boots in black.

Are you all still awake now?

Ariesgirl · 02/11/2010 19:16

I tried on the most gorgeous coat in Monsoon today. Price tag £140 and I would wreck it within a week. It's just not worth it.

Can you tell I don't get to the shops very often? Since when do I talk about CLOTHES?

Ariesgirl · 02/11/2010 19:17

And don't get me started on hats. I had to try on every hat I saw. In Per Una in M&S they're doing Twenties style cloche hats. They were brill.

PrincessBoo · 02/11/2010 19:28

Oh I do love hats. Always bloody losing my favourites though :(

saltyair · 02/11/2010 19:42

Blimey, what has got into you lot?? Hmm??

kat2504 · 02/11/2010 19:45

Ooh I want a new winter coat so I had better stay out of Monsoon. But tell me what it looks like anyway..... I got a spring/autumn coat recently, bright purple from M+S, very nice, but not warm enough for winter.

Arrival of the droid today. At least I was not kept waiting. Got the calendar at the ready! And my shiny new automated pee interpretation device. Or Shag Dictator as I have seen it referred to! Have nearly got enough Advantage card points for some perfume now!

InTheSunshine · 02/11/2010 20:07

Kat we are in tune! Droid got me today too. Have you got a fertility monitor then? I'm in 2 minds as to whether to bow to the Shag Dictator....

LadyGoneGaga · 02/11/2010 20:22

I got new boots too here. They have shearling insuiides which you can also wear bent over so two boots in one Grin

Yay!

saltyair · 02/11/2010 20:23

Droidage here too.

Personally I am celebrating the rusty old dear, as an indicator of regular cycles and everything being in working order.

InTheSunshine · 02/11/2010 20:27

Admire your style Seasalts - the needle woman told me my charts were looking good today so that made me Grin I am going to attempt a month with no alcohol this month......makes me want a G&T just thinking about it!

owlshoes · 02/11/2010 20:31

Heh; I think I am responsible for the Evil Shag Dictator label Grin

Am v.much enjoying the boots and clothing discussion. LadyG they are gorgeous.

BUT: middle-aged sensibleness has set in; I own a pair of arch support thingies to go in my shoes/boots. Before you know it I'll have invested in thermal vests and a bobble hat.

saltyair · 02/11/2010 20:32

I am having a delicious glass of viognier.

In line with the whole celebrating of the cycle. I will also not be blocking off any pathways of enjoyment. I have decided that I'm not in any shape to welcome anyone into the world if I can't be in control and enjoy my own life.
