sunnysideup - am fairly new to the needles game myself. I had reflexology when TTC DC1, so tried it again this time round and it hasn't done much, so switched to needles. I've only had 4 treatments so not sure what effect, if any, it is having. She is trying to get my cycles to shorten and be more regular, if she manages I will be v. impressed (actually will be more impressed if I get diffed!). If nothing else it's nice me time which I'm never going to moan about.

BarbieB - tbh I left 15 years ago so I have no idea what the situation might be like, however it's a city fiercly divided by "state of the art everything" and "out-and-out poverty". I'd imagine it would all be fine - only thing is, it's a 4 hr flight from Heathrow. If I were to be paying my own $$, I'd do it in Belgium, Israel or Spain.

Barbie ICSI was actually pioneered in Belgium - the hospitals with the best reputations are: Erasme, AZ VUB (University hospital of Brussels), St. Luc and Edith Cavell (all in Brussels) and Gashuisberg (University hospital) in Leuven which is home to Stella Artois -thereby covering all bases. I can get you specific gynae doctor names if you like.

Under Belgian law they're not allowed to advertise patient testimonials - although there are plenty out there on interweb should you go searching. Speaking English is not a problem so don't be worried about picking up a phone to speak to someone.
