Meat in general or just meat on pizza? I was just making a cup of tea (decaff heaven forbid I should let caffeine pass my lips whilst TTC Wink ) and was thinking could I stop eating meat..... I'm not sure. I love a good sausage Grin

saltyair · 18/10/2010 20:24

Meat on pizza in particular. But I also don't eat meat generally.

You are of course joking about the decaff, yes?

kat2504 · 18/10/2010 20:26

what is wrong with the meatfeast pizza? I am very partial to a dominoes Meateor, which even has meatballs on it!

BarbiesBeaver · 18/10/2010 20:27

What about a knob pizza?

InTheSunshine · 18/10/2010 20:27

Hell yes - I can't see the point of a day without tea.

saltyair · 18/10/2010 20:29

meatballs....sweet jesus. That's like some sort of torture. I would be sick, and it wouldn't even be a symptom.

Good, sunnydelight. Just had to check.

BB I think meatball pizza may well be made out of just that.

InTheSunshine · 18/10/2010 20:29

I've eaten knob pasta - it was at a hen do....

rocketleaf · 18/10/2010 20:39

knob shaped pizza. Meat on pizza is a bit wrong. Bit of speck is ok I suppose. Chicken Tikka pizza is just an abortion. boo think it depends on what region of Italy you are in. Pizza, I believe is a southern thang. milanomilady can correct me tho.

InTheSunshine · 18/10/2010 20:44

In Tesco they are selling a lasagne sandwich....

rocketleaf · 18/10/2010 20:48

TB's favourite sandwich used to be:

One chicago town pizza, microwaved
On slice of white bread, buttered.

Slap both together and get down yer grid.

I have edumacated him in the finer points of dining and he now prefers an avocado, tomato, mozzarella and basil sandwich on warm ciabatta. :o

mmm, hungry again...

Casserole · 18/10/2010 21:00

Sunnysideup PLEASE tell me that's not true.

Well, both other friends have come back with a resounding WTF on the other thing, as has MrStew, so I am letting myself off the hook.

InTheSunshine · 18/10/2010 21:10

Slowcookeddish completely true. I have seen it with my very own eyes. I passed on actually eating it. I'll stick with my fave peanut butter & banana thanks.

Whenisitmyturn · 18/10/2010 21:12

Cass - sounds like you'd be better off going out without her - preparing for labour in the evenings between now and Feb, like really? How?

Saltnpepper we're also getting a wood burning stove installed at the weekend. I'm seriously hoping it makes the house warmer otherwise I may just hibernate.

Sunnydays Lasagne sandwich is VERY wrong. Bleurgh...

Rie G&T for you to calm The Rage?

In mememe news. Met with Cinco today for our first RL BESHmeet which was great (waves to CT). I have also just returned from needling. She stuck some in my back and I was all very ticklish. Not much else to report, so as you were.

kat2504 · 18/10/2010 21:19

How exactly can you prepare for labour when you are only 5 months? Does it really take four months to prepare?! Bloody hell when I get a baybee win I will need much more maternity leave just to get ready! What on earth can she be doing?

PrincessBoo · 18/10/2010 21:27

Whensitmygo A wood burning stove. Oh how lovely. We just have fairy lights in our hearth in our rented house. I'd love a wood burining stove but the landlord says the chimmneys need something doing to them first. And it's expensive. :(

KitKat I dunno. Pelvic floor exercises?

InTheSunshine · 18/10/2010 21:27

Whensit how long have you been having the pins for? I've been for a few sessions - what do you reckon? Hippy rubbish or worth the dollars?

Truffkin · 18/10/2010 21:49

Thanks for knobtwatcuntybollock concensus, but sorry so many BESHes have have needed to deal with said knobs also. Have eaten fish & chips for dinner and had to force down some of TGB's birthday Thorntons so am indulging myself Grin

Talking of weird sandwiches, did anyone by any chance watch the American version of The Apprentice (I think last year) where the teams had to market the 'Pi-eat-za' which was 2 slices of pizza with sandwich filling between them? They were selling it in Wallmart. Yuk.

I do have to admit to enjoying a meat pizza, but only the sausage from dominos or chicken, pesto and rocket at Pizza Express. Mmmmmmm.

kat2504 · 18/10/2010 21:59

pelvic floor exercises all that time! Reckon if her muscles are that toned the baby will be propelled out at fifty miles an hour. My hat goes off to anyone who can do five of them without thinking "sod this for a laugh" and finding something else to do.

truff hope you enjoyed the fish and chips and the chocolate. I shared my chocs at work today, hopefully the generosity will have some sort of karma effect on my ovaries?

rocketleaf much as I am a meat-pizza-eater, I will say that you are quite definitely right about Tikka Pizza. Even worse is Hoi Sin Crispy Duck pizza. A true abomination.

What is the BESHliest pizza? My vote goes to black olives, anchovies and capers plus mozzarella and a bit of parmesan. The height of pizzaliciousness. Dominoes Meateor in second place.

PrincessBoo · 18/10/2010 22:10

My favourite pizza - olives, mushrooms, pineapple, extra cheese.

No to anchovies. I don't like fish on pizza.

Casserole · 18/10/2010 22:11

You are all making me want pizza, damn you. Mind you it doesn't take much.

I am revising heart failure tonight. It's not the most comfortable reading as ministew was diagnosed with it at 7 weeks old. He's fine now, under review. He might need an op at some point but hopefully not. It's upsetting me that a lot of the paragraphs where it says "However, in more severe cases....." go on to talk about symptoms or drugs he had.

Anyway. It ends well. The NHS were bloody brilliant and all over it when the needed to be. Just making me feel a bit funny reading it all, you know?

pizza pizza pizza....

Casserole · 18/10/2010 22:12

KNOB!

Truffkin · 18/10/2010 22:19

Cass glad mini stew is all better now, do understand you being a bit about reading the reminders though.

My favourite pizza is sausage, mushroom, green peppers and oregano. I am quite partial to tuna at times though. I've recently tried the warm cookies from Dominos and they are mmmmmm. Fo sho.

Muser · 18/10/2010 22:39

Best pizzas are:

The one with spinach and an egg on top
Anchovies, artichokes, mushrooms, ham
Pepperoni, more pepperoni, cheese, more cheese (but only if good quality pepperoni)

I love anchovies. Lovely little tasty fishies of the sea.

Cass poor ministew, I can see how reading that would be uncomfortable.

Scorpette · 18/10/2010 23:11

Am I too late to add: KNOBS! to the general consensus? What a cornucopia of cocks Angry Although I think I'm going to use the 'I'm preparing for labour' bullshit as my excuse for eeeeeverything now. TYF: 'Could you pass me the...' Me: 'I'M PREPARING FOR LABOUR! GEDDIT YER FUCKIN' SEN*!'. Grin

I have also been cocked about by British Rail super-knobs today Angry

PrincessBoo · 18/10/2010 23:30

Just watched Spooks on the iplayer. I'm all Lucas/John ed up. I truly, truly am in love.
