Forgot to say thanks to barbarella for your holiday recommendation. We're all booked up to stay in one of the cottages near Bude for a weekend next month...the one with the big copper bath in the bedroom. Decided to stay UK as less money and means we could possibly fit in another break at some point.

Lady Let's hope we're both not waiting too much longer for both because waiting for stuff sucks big time - spesh for a control freak like me. Will definitely get you along next time, soz didn't realise you may have been able to come otherwise would have invited you. I'll message you.

BarbiesBeaver · 20/10/2010 14:23

Oooo how exciting! You will have so much fun! It tipped down with rain and howled with wind when we went but I didn't care - we took lovely food and wine with us, some new DVD's, went for windy walks along the beach, looked around Tintagel and Port Isaac and came back to huge baths together to warm up. You will LOVE it!

BarbiesBeaver · 20/10/2010 14:24

WE also took a taxi to Widemouth Bay one night - nice restaurant there if you want the name, and walked to the local pub.

cincotart · 20/10/2010 14:28

Sounds blissful, can't wait Grin Yeah any info you have would be great. Did I see a post that means you might now be in t'other place?

milanomum · 20/10/2010 14:34

Aries If it helps any, 2 friends of mine (one's 41 and the other 43) have had 2 kids within 2.5 years. The age thing is a pile of shite.

HB hope the monster gets finished soon

LadyGoneGaga · 20/10/2010 14:48

Ouch Milano. And I've been a baby all weekend with my tongue ulcers. Can you not even eat pizza with pineapple/chicken/rump steak as beloved by the BESHies?

Ariesgirl · 20/10/2010 15:20

Thanks LyraLovely. Is that the shortest lurkage ever? Lovely to see you Cincs.

What's so funny about Eurojizzney? I own all the franchises; made me a fortune, so they have.

RunLyraRun · 20/10/2010 15:52

Is Eurojizzney before your time Rie? We used to take BESHly trips there all the time . Scorps is so very clever.

Hello Cincs, I'm so excited that you are going to the amazing cottages that Barbie suggested, they look fantastic .

Yes BB, I'm already planning ahead for if our single cycle of NHS IVF doesn't work, or if funding gets pulled before we get there

RunLyraRun · 20/10/2010 17:24

I haz killed fred? :(

PrincessBoo · 20/10/2010 17:27

PrincessBoo · 20/10/2010 18:12

What does your chap do Lyra? Sorry about cluster posting, sometimes I treat Mumsnet like twitter!

saltyair · 20/10/2010 18:33

Come here ladyeeee, I haz to snuggle you

Hello everyone else!

Truffkin · 20/10/2010 18:42

Evening BESHes

Am having very busy work week (TM) and is only Wednesday - bah. Much of it is related to redundancies and closing down a project so is double bah, I hate the mizzy stuff, I feel more evil than usual [henvy]

PrincessBoo · 20/10/2010 18:54

Have just asked MumsnetHQ to remove my post detailing my job as suddenly got superparanoid. Am also well aware that there are folks that may not think my job is important in the slightest and I don't want to bring politics into the BESH arena.

Sorry. Mojitos and green fags all round.

LadyGoneGaga · 20/10/2010 18:54

We're having stew tonight too, Truffs. But ours is out of the freezer from last time I batch cooked. The cold weather warrants it! Yours sounds lovely and fresh though and bet TGB delighted. And sorry you having a yukky week. FWIW I don't think you iz witchy at all. I think you iz lubberly - like this --> [hsmile]

I hope your job is safe Princess and also Lyra's chap. Sounds like you do Very Good Things.

Ocarina · 20/10/2010 18:56

Grrr to irritating comments Truff, people seem to just not think. I hope that if nothing else this ttc lark will have taught me to be more sensitive around other people because you can never know what they're going through.

I too have been procrastinating and getting no work done being wifely and have moussaka in the oven. The recipe needed white wine, so I'm now drinking the leftovers. If TH wants to go to the cinema later he can drive!

Glasgow kisses all round.

Ocarina · 20/10/2010 18:58

Boo your job sounds most excellently useful, and the sort of thing that saves money overall so a stupid thing to cut. If only decisions about these things were that logical, I hope they are in your case.

(and I understand the paranoia!)

saltyair · 20/10/2010 18:59

I have a stew in T'oven too. Vege one though innit. With dumplings an' everything.

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEE

Truffkin · 20/10/2010 19:07

Am pleased to be in the stew for tea gang. I used Guinness in mine so just opened the wine for free

Fanks GaGa have little lez crush on you now (strokes)

Am over it, have decided. If I iz diffed (totally unlikely, not a symptom in sight and now 9DPO) then I know people would be delighted and I'd just have to make sure I look glowing and fabulous the whole way through (erm, likely much?)

Anyway, if I'm not it means I can get peoperly hammered at the family party in Ireland next month, which is a quite good silver lining.

saltyair · 20/10/2010 19:15

Truff you do know that not having symptoms is statistically the most likely symptom of being diffed?
