Hello everybody!

js I have done as you asked! I'm impressed about your run tonight! Good luck with it! Do you listen to music?

squirrel go you ! In the gym again already. I need to get my own arse in gear re exercise. I'm working until 7 so doubt will want to do anything tonight but I'm planning on going for a ride tomorrow (bike ride not the fun kindWink)

nannyl Good news about the car! To put a photo on You go to mymumsnet at the top which lets you set up a profile, you can then upload photos from your albums or whatever :)

bebe I think you are right about not mentioning TTC to DH at the moment-best to wait for a time when you think he is more relaxed and confident about the future :) Has DD asked when the next party will be yet?

JustShaggingForNow · 11/08/2010 10:25

Strawberrypie - You look almost exactly how I imagined, how funny is that. You are one very glam lady!!! I think I am going to have to listen to music tonight as I need the distraction. May have to get a playlist put together today (I can tell it's really not going to be productive on the work front, have already done my Sainsbury's online order for the weekend!!!)

nannyl facebook is good if you can't upload a pic on here. Awesome news on the car - you must be so excited that it's arriving soon!!!

nannyl · 11/08/2010 10:52

ok i think i have managed to upload a photo of me (& OH) can someone look and tell me if it has worked please Smile

yes am very excited to be picking up car later.... not so delighted about insurance costs but hey ho!

Off for a swim in a min, i am trying to do 60 lengths every weekday before i let myself have lunch!!!

JustShaggingForNow · 11/08/2010 10:59

Hmmm - for some reason I can't see your profile. Is it private?

Very impressed at your 60 lengths before lunch - I love swimming but there isn't a pool near to us and gyms here are so darn expensive Angry I am going to have to hit the junk food for lunch today...... very bad but I'm so bloody hungry!!

nannyl · 11/08/2010 11:24

ok

yes my profile was private... i have tried again Smile does it work now?

Im lucky i have 2 local pools within 3 miles!!!

JustShaggingForNow · 11/08/2010 11:38

Yay - I can see you. Can't see your face very well so not sure if you look as I expected!!! Lucky you having 2 pools on your doorstep - have a nice swim!

I didn't realise you were a nursery nurse / nanny (although the name should really have give that away shouldn't it!!!) I'd love to do that and have looked at the EYPS course at Bath Spa university but at the moment it's not really realistic because of money.

bebejones · 11/08/2010 13:40

Loving all the new photos! Strawberry & JS looking very glam & putting tubby old me to shame!

DD just had the most epic of tantrums & made herself sick from screaming! All because I got her out of the bath! (Not normal bathtime but she had been playing with her sand table & was covered!) Hoping she has worn herself out & will have a nice nap now

Strawberry - not so sure it's being cosiderate to DH. Just don't want to bring it up & have him change his mind again. Am just coasting along hoping that if I don't mention it & just get on with the original plan, then it'll all be fine! Hmm Wink

JustShaggingForNow · 11/08/2010 13:47

bebe (puts on stern voice) don't be down on yourself. You're not tubby and your recent weight loss is nothing short of amazing. You are very pretty.

It sounds like DD is being a little challenging today. Am always rather impressed that they can make themselves sick from screaming - that's quite a talent!! I hope she has a nice sleep and gives you a chance to chit chat on MN recover!!

bebejones · 11/08/2010 14:43

Have put a recent pic (ie today) onto my profile & generally had a tidy up of the pictures! Thanks JS, very kind!

Have so much to do but just lacking any enthusiasm. Did a little bit of gardening (well tied some more canes to the sunflowers) wanted to re-pot my strawberries but forgot to get compost! Ooops!

Must summon the energy to sort through DDs downstairs toybox! She has more clutter than I do!

JustShaggingForNow · 11/08/2010 14:53

WOW!!! You look fabulous! The difference between 15 weeks in and today is unbelievable.......

nannyl · 11/08/2010 15:16

bebe just looked at your piccies again and agree with JS, looking fab Smile

strawberrypie · 11/08/2010 19:25

bebe can I add my compliments to those above- you look lovely! how much weight have you lost? Have you followed a specific diet or just healthy eating? You need to let us other dieters your secret!

strawberrypie · 11/08/2010 19:26

know you secret, sorry!

bebejones · 11/08/2010 19:31

Strawberry - have lost a little over 4st since xmas. Haven't done anything specific, just been calorie counting & stepped up my exercise! 12 more lbs will give me a good healthy weight BMI buffer zone!

I have seen your pic...you don't need to diet, you too look lovely!! :)

And also your cat is adorable! I love cats!! :)

strawberrypie · 11/08/2010 19:51

Wowzers bebe that is such an achievement! You must have a will of iron!

Thank you for your nice comments! I've got to agree with you about Edith- she is a little stunner! She was a stray that was brought into the vets where I work........and the rest is history!

bebejones · 11/08/2010 19:57

I wouldn't say 'will of iron' but I am very stubborn, plus I have the best incentive! :o

I have 2 cats. (We did have 3 but one decided she didn't like DD so took up residence round the corner when DD was 4months old!) I'd love more, but don't think I would be allowed! Our grumpy old cat puts up with so much from DD, the ginger one avoids her at all costs! They are so funny!

Morning ladies. Quick hello while I get ready for work. Can't see any of your photos I'm afraid, as I can only MN on my phone atm. DH is away, so I was hoping I would have both the laptop and some free time last night so I could reply to everyone properly but DH had taken the laptop with him :0( Will have to keep imagining what you all look like!

Whywait what absolutely brilliant news about your DH coming round. I am really pleased for you it must be very exciting!

JustShaggingForNow · 12/08/2010 09:36

Im so lucky cause i can talk to OH about anything at all, and he always listens and takes me seriously

mrswantstobeamum · 12/08/2010 11:13

Morning ladies,

Just checking in quickly as I am super busy at work today (and was yesterday as well).

Will have a look at your photos and add some of my own as soon as I get the chance!

It's interesting to hear what others have decided regarding caffeine. I think I will quit completely once I'm officially TTC and certainly while pregnant. I've been researching, and consuming caffeine can make it more difficult to conceive, cause low birth weight, and in some cases, even miscarriage. It seems many women continue to consume low amounts of caffeine throughout pregnancy, but to me, it's just not worth the risk.

As my life is so chaotic this month, though, there is no way I can come off caffeine until closer to TTC!

I hope everyone has a lovely day! xx
