I just got a king sized Christmas duvet cover from Amazon for £11.20, was £24.99 originally. DP is going to be so excited when I produce that in December 🤣

hby9628 · 14/01/2026 07:17

ah sorry! Yes the small one. Seems to last though x

I appreciate the heads up , after thinking I would leave it , I’ve just caved and ordered two bottles anyway , I have no willpower !

Toooldforlonghair · 14/01/2026 09:35

I discovered the Christmas threads this year and loved them, such a nice community of like minded ladies. Happy New Year to you all.

Having now discovered these prequel threads am going to follow them. Meanwhile my local Iceland had giant packets of 'Christmas' crisps (turkey and stuffing flavour) at 25p a bag yesterday. I also got a large mixed box of 'Seasonal' Jacobs crackers for less than half price. There was other 'Christmas' foods reduced.

They’ll have to fight me for them!

Oh goodness with my greedy garden birds it'd be like a scene from The Birds! (although I'll confess to operating a 'one for you lot, one for me' approach!).

My local Aldi also has 9p little boxes of nice cheese biscuits/cheese straws and cooking kit boxes eg for turkey curry but easily adapted to be veggie with Aug BB dates. Everything is stuck in one shelf section but worth a look if shopping.

FurForksSake · 14/01/2026 10:43

I’ve probably massively missed the boat, but has anyone seen anywhere with frozen turkeys? I meant to buy one for Easter. We may have to have beef 🤣

KitKatKathy · 14/01/2026 12:13

Our Lidl has reduced the last of its Christmas stock to 20p each - We've just purchased two large panatonne, 4 chocolates santas and 6 huge boxes of Lebkuchen.

hby9628 · 14/01/2026 12:37

@Theraffarian you’ll be glad you did…it’s sold out now! Smaller ones are handy for taking on hols too so win win.

Cos1970 · 14/01/2026 13:20

Just saw these Wicked cups and water bottles in our local Home Bargains.

Last minute clearance bargains I've found in my city (Newcastle) today..

White Company; now up to 60% off. Got the Myrrh oil for £4.80 down from £12 and a massive Winter ribbed glass candle down from £70 to £35

Loads of extra clearance stuff in TK maxx. They had some gorgeous mixed 'Yard of tea' things (sort of like a long gift box) would make a fab present or advent type thing. £3 and I think you got 96 teabags all together (12 varieties all sounded interesting) had a long date on something 2027 I think. Lots of beauty bargains, soaps, candles etc all on Final Clearance.

If you have a Fenwick near you, be sure to check out the food hall. 70% off Christmas food including posh sweets, panettone and all sorts of other posh food. I've been wanting to try of of their ridiculously expensive traditional Christmas puddings for years but couldn't bring myself to pay £25. Down to a fiver now with a best before of June 2028 so I got two! If i could have carried more, I would have...

Just spotted these bargain Christmas duvet covers in Tesco. Bit gutted as they only had single and double. Would have loved a new seasonal duvet for next year for my bed, but mines king size.

Asda had iron man lego and spiderman reduced from £13 down to £2.50!! Greedy man took ALL the sets, if I had wanted one then I'd have confronted him.

QOD · 14/01/2026 17:59

I bought 3 tubs of on the shelf goose fat in the reduced bit in Tesco today. 87p each expiry 2027
having an Xmas end of the month with a friend so will use one and keep two. Special treat for the spuds 🤤

edit to add that I’m still after cheap Xmas pjs. Character Ones were out of my budget. I’m talking few quid lol. Thanks tho

BonaidMhoir · 14/01/2026 20:18

Am pretty sure I swore off buying from Studio again but can’t remember why so one lazy browse later I have done it again - lots of men’s Original Penguin tops heavily reduced and a surprising range of Pretty Green for anyone interested

WhereTheresAHill · 14/01/2026 21:19

Does anyone know when Boots sale will go to 70% off, there was still soooo much stock of lots of different gift sets in both of my local ones today but couldn’t bring myself to buy them at 50% off!

keepincool · 15/01/2026 08:00

Thanks for the White Company sale info @RainbowZebraWarrior - I managed to get myself a large candle, diffuser set and oil in the Vert fragrance last night - just before they closed 😍

VelvetThunder · 15/01/2026 09:08

£15 Hotel Chocolat at Moonpig

Thanks a MILLION! Ordered for a 50th at the end of the month- a friend, but not mega close, so this is perfect. Amazing.

Sleeposaurus · 15/01/2026 21:07

I got stich colour change bubble bath at asda for 37p yesterday- there was loads on the shelf, uno flip for £2.70, barbie chelsea for £3.30 and little reals stitch backpacks for £1.70. I've shopped for the next 8 kids parties. It was worth a browse of the toys as these were mostly on the normal toy shelves.

Hobbycraft also had some great reductions which also seem to be online (little craft kits and cuddly toys half price).

MaybeItsTimeForMeNow · 15/01/2026 22:17

I have also bought the hotel chocolat box although I am expecting short dates! If theyre ok it's for my niece who's birthday is in Feb, if theyre short ah well my punt lost and I have to have it 😅

InDreamland · 15/01/2026 22:17

Accessorize online has an extra 10% off sale items with code EXTRA10

If you have a Treats account with them it's worth checking if you have any vouchers too.

I bought a couple of children's handbags for the birthday parties present box, clogs in the few sizes up for DD as I'm too tight to buy Crocs and the Accessorize ones are cute, hair clips that will make nice stockfillers, summer dresses for my DDs, bobble hat and matching mittens for next winter for DD1, and new gloves for me. Plus a few other bits.
