Thank you, that's great advice. There's so many 50% deals advertised right now, but I always wonder is it 'really' 50% in reality. I'll do some calm research/ digging & keep those quotes safe for later.

There was a beautiful ex-display deal that I wanted to jump on, but probably just as well it was the wrong colour- a snap decision is never good!

Honestly, we got 60-70% off list price at Howdens by getting them to do price matching. Our builder was on board. It’s not worth being rushed into a kitchen you are months off purchasing. Also we had to make some alterations once the space had been stripped back and prepared. You save so much (labour not just kitchen costs) by not being rushed into making mistakes.

This is a lovely site, with unusual books. Some great reductions too!

Right, I'm off to get quotes before sales stop. Definitely not rushing into things. Our present kitchen is Howden's through the builder at the time, so would be happy with them again.

Thank you.

Jaques of London have an extra 30% off sale items with code SUPERVIP. Their stuff is beautifully presented and hardly needs wrapping at all. Lovely quality as well.

Justkeepsmilingx · 11/01/2026 09:35

Clarins doing extra samples today - cheapest thing I could find was 30ml hand cream - you choose three samples and they add another six.

Swap delivery to yodel for £1 less delivery.

I got 30ml hand cream and nine samples delivered for £10.95.

I did it in November and it was a lovely treat.

Today only.

MerylSqueak · 11/01/2026 10:29

Don't forget the Lisa Angel sale. You can sort by discount high to low.

Hereslookinatyoukid · 11/01/2026 10:42

Putting one of these aside for my MIL - such a nice bargain! Free delivery on the app. www.notino.co.uk/beauty/discovery-box-notino-bloom-set-for-women/

WimbyAce · 11/01/2026 10:59

Asda has some Stitch stuff reduced. I got my daughter some PJs and a lunchbox/water bottle for £13 total.
Also just got a polly pocket on Amazon for £7.49. There is also a nice little lego friends movie night set for £7.99.

hby9628 · 11/01/2026 11:15

@Hereslookinatyoukidthank you. I’ve ordered for my teens feb birthday. She likes little perfumes to go in her blazer pocket.

Whattodo541289 · 11/01/2026 17:26

For those that have done this in the past, is it worth it.
I am not a Clarins person and I am buying a very expensive shower gel to tick the box as I don’t see the point in buying a cheaper product that I won’t use.

IlovePond · 11/01/2026 18:02

@lovealongbath - Clarins don’t fill their sample tubes completely so you have to choose wisely. The best samples to choose are the 10ml toners, the 5ml perfumes, the 2ml face oils and the tiny lip sample tube. The rest are not worth getting, imo.

lovealongbath · 11/01/2026 18:09

Thanks @IlovePond

I have got the 50 spf stick for £20 plus £3 postage. I use it through summer when I need extra spf on face, hands and décolletage - like @lovealongbath I think this offer is only worth it if you buy something you will actually use or will be a decent gift The freebies really aren’t very big

Ughy · 11/01/2026 20:39

This is a good deal on a Chill Factor Slushy cup for any Sticht fans. They don’t go much cheaper than this in any style, £4.99 right now. My 4yo loves hers in all seasons!

MulberryPeony · 11/01/2026 20:40

Some very good deals on their nibs brand satin pillowcases in a nice gift box in TKMaxx. Different ones in my local store to online https://www.tkmaxx.com/uk/en/women/beauty/beauty-gifts/grey-moon-tile-eye-mask+pillowcase/p/28008893 £8

Sorry. Just spotted your question.
i am usually a Clinique girl but tried Clarins on a similar offer in November. I found it a nice way to try some new products and it gave me travel sizes for a small trip I did at the start of December.

Hereslookinatyoukid · 12/01/2026 09:06

If you are looking to change up your skincare and try something new @lovealongbath , go for it. I did this back in November and have actually been somewhat converted to Clarins! But I wouldn’t bother with shower gel - try a product which is going to be materially different like a foaming cleanser, or the beauty balm or similar.

NotMeekNotObedient · 12/01/2026 13:52

Lots of Bluey & Stich clothes reduced in Morrisons today - T-shirts for £2, coats for £8 etc. Xmas food bits and Xmas Kids books were also reduced.

Lidlisthebusiness · 12/01/2026 15:52

Last year was a pinch, but this year may well be even worse if things don't work out so I'll definitely be looking to bargain hunt year round rather than just the few months leading up to Chrisrmas. Consider me part of the prequel gang!

hby9628 · 12/01/2026 15:56

White stuff have an excellent sale online. I’ve my eye on a couple of things to grab once I get paid

Puffalicious · 12/01/2026 18:15

Hi wonderful bargain hunters,

DS3 has just announced he'd like the Lego Fortnite Battle Bus 77073 for his birthday at start of Feb. Budget is mainly allocated to a Switch2, so would like to get this at a keen price.

Lego store is £90, John Lewis £85, Smyths £70 & Argos £67.50. I'm swithering just to order from Argos as I'll probably not get it cheaper. Any Argos vouchers around/ deals for other places anyone knows of?

Thank you!

Hereslookinatyoukid · 12/01/2026 18:31

Nice bargains in person in accessorize today. Lots of 50% and 70% off including nice stocking fillers like Christmas clips and cute velvet bows! Some lovely thick blanket scarves for any January /February birthdays coming up too

I successfully bought a couple of brand new with tag lego sets for half price from vinted for christmas - got some Formula 1 lego for £90 instead of £180. Its worth looking!

I bought all the Christmas cards needed for this year from Clintons and got about 3 pairs of Christmas pjs for my little boy reduced to £4 each from Asda. They're washed and packed in the Christmas clothes box. I just need to buy bits throughout the year really
