Same here - no candles allowed to be lit but she loves the lamp and says it smells the same as having the candle lit without breaking the the rules and setting off fire alarms !

I just ordered a load to put away for Christmas. Amazon said a maximum of 1 per customer, but I was able to place several orders. Then I found a pack of two that was really good value. Really pleased with them. Just have to buy the candles now!

I know it’s been mentioned before, but Rex London have some nice stocking fillers - I just bought a couple of snow globes for £1 each, a 1000 piece jigsaw for £3.95, some nice designs of water bottles for £2 and £2.95.

It’s usually free postage over £35, but there was a code for free postage over £20. FD2026. Not sure how long the offer is on for. I was going to place an order anyway so that was a nice surprise!

They have got some lovely bits so I’m tempted. That code randomly just adds a fish bottle opener for me though, no free delivery 🤣

Home Bargains currently have 2 pairs of 'Happy Socks' for £3 , usually 20 quid. I presume they are meant for Father's Day but I got some for stocking fillers.

Oh that’s so weird! I got free delivery with it! I just had to check and it says I also have a fish bottle opener added - which would have brought my total over £35 (their usual free delivery minimum). But then the £6.95 for the bottle opener has been discounted and my total was £28.75 and still included free delivery. It didn’t have a date or time for the promo code so maybe it changed in the middle of the day rather than midnight? Sorry it’s not working - I thought I’d found a good one!

Rex’s website had a banner on it saying free gift with the code if spending over £20 so I think that’s what the fish bottle opener is. I have one coming too!

Not Xmas related but I know you are all amazing at bargain hunting, it’s dws best friends 40th birthday coming up, we have got him theatre tickets as a main present but unfortunately due to all his family being massively homophobic he won’t be getting anything from anyone else so I would like to get him some little bits but that are nice he doesn’t have any hobbies really but he does love music, open to any and all suggestions you can throw at me - thank you!!!

Hi, I went into Boots this pm and there was lots of makeup: Big and small Revolution eyeshadow palettes, ditto Barry M, plus some Rimmel and Sleek makeup and lots of fake tan products, haircare and sunscreen. Might be worth popping in if your local Boots has a clearance section.

I have never seen so much stuff in clearance except just after Xmas!

Lots of it was sealed and would make good presents to put away for Xmas.

Oh I need to check my local boots. I usually go in on a Wednesday and check the clearance but didn’t go today.
