I vaguely remember the price dropping to under ~a tenner? Is that right? Which was brilliant value for us all.

Can I ask about batteries please? Reviews seem to say that they don't last long?

It's a standard plug in lamp, so no battery issues.

Hope I'm allowed to mention here but for those looking for jewellery my DD makes really pretty earrings to sell to raise funds for our local Trussell Trust foodbank - quite a few people bought last Christmas and posted on here about how they liked them. Here is a potentially stupid question ref the candle warmer … what happens the wick? Like does it just stay in the middle?

Most just fall into the melted wax, depending on the quality, I think I've only ever had 1 stay in the centre.

Also after a few weeks of melting and remelting, I empty out the top of the jar, with mine they usually only melt down about 2". Then its like the candle is new again as the lamp is melting fresh wax. Can be a little messy to remove the top few inches but worth it.
