Thread 13 - the one with a cheesy advent calendar of 67 jumpers

Decided to combine both thread title suggestions :)

Thanks @RainbowZebraWarrior for helping me out and I'm so excited that I was on my computer and she tagged me so I could set this one up - hurrah!

Feeling super festive today after getting the decorations up and visiting Father Christmas. Exciting news is the Christmas bedding and jumpers are all down from the loft and being washed, so I'll soon be able to walk around in my 'I [heart] Christmas' jumper Xmas Grin

This post is a work in progress, and if you have any links you’d like to share or you think would be good to add, then please do let me know. The general consensus for the thread is to share any bargainous links, ideas, and/or discount codes or information. No affiliate links, please.
Please post any referral links to the separate thread linked below. This is a warm, friendly, kind and cosy corner of MN filled with Christmas cookies and hot chocolate - let’s keep it that way!
As we move towards actual Black Friday (does that even exist any more?) the threads tend to move very quickly. It can be helpful to post your bargain in bold. This can be done by adding an asterxix either side of a word with no gap in between. So Levi's would be Levi's

I know various people have had problems with Degustabox, but I’ve taken a risk. They are offering for £25, with the £15 off code ( ADV-15-OFF) and free delivery. I’ve paid with PayPal in case there are issues.

It’s really good so far. DH is super impressed.

Does anyone know if you get any discount codes for signing up to John Lewis? My mum has asked for an unreasonably expensive theragun mini massager. My husband has one and she wants one just like it so all of the cheaper versions won’t please her. I wish I could just wrap up my DPs but that might upset him….

Currys and Amazon both have them for less than John Lewis if that helps

BrightWolf · 04/12/2025 19:54

Can anyone help me with the Smyths website please? I found a voucher code but there’s literally nowhere I can put it in, unless I’m being stupid and have missed it.

Dinosweetpea · 04/12/2025 18:49

Can anyone remember the name of the horse riding socks company mentioned a few threads back?!

@Dinosweetpea I wonder if it was this thread?

Le Mieux was one suggestion

YummyNomo · 04/12/2025 20:00

Thank you for the Degusta tip. I paid with PayPal as suggested. Would people recommend it?

BeeKeeping · 04/12/2025 20:01

Is It a shareable code @BrightWolf? I’m just about to put an order in for smyths!

yes that does help @Justhereforthechristmasthreadsthank you!

I was looking at these in the summer but decided against it as they are apparently really dangerous. People have died due to carbon dioxide. They are banned in quite a few countries.

I agree, please don’t buy full face snorkel masks, they are really dangerous. We call them suicide masks. My friends son had a very bad experience with one. Google them and you will find loads of horrific stories. Buy a separate mask and snorkel, they are so much safer.

Anyone help with reducing the price of these chocolates on F&M - I actually don’t mind the full price but it’s the postage I am loathe to pay, had a google and no codes I can find, nothing on BL or Student discount and I am too far to collect in store - any miracles or do I need to just suck it up and pay the postage 🫣 I mean how ridiculous £6 postage!

Can you collect in person? F&M is heaving with tourists around this time but the window displays are gorgeous

ExhaustedHousewife · 04/12/2025 20:15

Please let me know if you find any codes,I'm desperate for the chocolate tortoises but £6 is pushing it for delivery. Obviously, I'll let you know, too!

@IlovePond thanks for replying, yes he has a cuddle cushion and weighted blanket and I’ve got him a new oodie.

The vinted pair posted look perfect. My kids have these ones and I think M&S do these velour type ones regularly. I have bought my nephews some this year in the same fabric, so worth checking. I think there is 20% off night wear at present too. (Also in my opinion that fabric washes and wears well, we have some harry potter and star wars ones. Bought hot wheels for nephew)

Carrie76 · 04/12/2025 20:22

@VikingNorthUtsire yes that’s them but he’s 13 so won’t fit unfortunately. I’ll start looking for velour ones

Carrie76 · 04/12/2025 20:23

@N96 thanks its the feel of them he likes. He’s not really into star wars, weirdly.

Wowsersbrowsers · 04/12/2025 20:24

@MamaK19 definitely better to buy in person if you can. My experience with their postage was abominable.

Carrie76 · 04/12/2025 20:26

@Threeboystwocatsandadog they look great but out of stock in his size 😢

Yes I was just thinking it would hopefully help you match the texture 😊 my son has an oversized velour hoodie that he lives in!

MaybeItsTimeForMeNow · 04/12/2025 20:37

How do I get the calendar for 34.55 with delivery? Im being charged 3.95 delivery

Blessedbethefruitz · 04/12/2025 20:40

I think someone said recently that b&m have squishmallows on sale, but didn't spot if that includes pokemon? Does anyone know before I make a special trip? I got a 14" pokemon one last weekend from t k max clearance, but both of my kids are obsessed...

Notherereally1 · 04/12/2025 20:41

@Carrie76 My daughter loves velour pjs and she has loads from Dunnes. They are great quality and wash well.
