Teenage girls: must-have items this year?

Every year the Christmas lists of many of the teenage girls (my own included) have quite often very similar must-have trending items. So what are they this year? I haven't got my 15-year-old daughter's list yet but trying to get a few items early. She's into all the trendy make-up and usual TikTok nonsense.

This is the same one dd uses. It's on ASOS so worth waiting till they have one of their 20% off days. Seems to be one every week at the moment.

As does Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth. I picked up some minis for my daughter with 20% off the full price and then another 20% off that price at the till. they came down to £85.60.

My daughter also has these - hasn't used them until last night and she has got amazing curls this morning 😍

In - iets frans joggers especially amongst musical theatre types. She's asked for the New Balance trainers that were popular a while back but I still see a lot of the teen girls wearing. Huda and Charlotte Tilbury makeup brands in, Victoria's Secret. My problem is I could just go on and on buying for her as she's so easy to buy for. I have to reign myself in!

I’ve just counted my list of what I’ve bought for DD and actually must stop now!! Apart from hair straighteners her list is closed!! 😳

To echo other posters, I would also say although there are popular brands/items amongst lots of teens, I find the best way to go is to ask directly - I find dd is very clear on brand/style/colour and when I've made suggestions to her based on what's popular amongst other teens I've received a less than impressed reaction! I'd rather spend the same amount of money on a few select items that I know she wants than try and guess and get it wrong.

Is the hoodie maybe an adult size? That would make sense

Thank you. I thought this, but Bicester Village has separate RL stores for children and adults and I was in the childrens' store. Will just have to risk it 😬 it's not like she even needed the hoodie. I was just tempted by the clearance price.

Dd has a des-vu hoodie, not cheap but actually really good quality and thick. No idea on discount code sorry x

Id say generous, my dd is a size 4/6 and I got xxs and its roomy but not hugely oversize

We had the gingerbread one last year and I can confirm it's fab. Super trendy and feels like an absolute bargain in the 3 for 2 (so have indulged again this year!).

Suggestion of make up brush cleaner gadget. I’m looking for one for my dd. I think it might be a bit gimmicky but I think she’ll like it

I have the stylpro cleaner but the cleaning solution is expensive and it can be messy if you forget to switch off before removing from the bowl. I’ve just started using the elf cleaning soap block which I’m loving.
