Teenage girls: must-have items this year?

Every year the Christmas lists of many of the teenage girls (my own included) have quite often very similar must-have trending items. So what are they this year? I haven't got my 15-year-old daughter's list yet but trying to get a few items early. She's into all the trendy make-up and usual TikTok nonsense.

Me and DD13 both use Eternal Muse - they do lovely gift sets too.

we both have a lot of hair - long and thick so use the larger one. Perfect bouncy blow dry look every time!

Does anybody have any recommendations for products for curly hair? Thinking a nice gift set might be an idea for my 15yo niece but I’m clueless

Silk pillowcase and or hair bonnet, Denmen do a brush that's great for setting curls after washing, it has 5 rows in it. Boucleme products are lovely, they do starter sets of conditioners etc on their site

Re sizing on Adanola, the oversize hoodies are really oversized! I’m normally a 16 so I bought xxl according to their size guide and it is GINORMOUS. I’ve rebought in XL. So I would look at their size guide and go for the smaller size that includes your dds size if that makes sense

Lots of good teen girl cosmetics on Boots £10 Tuesday today - picked up some great Fenty Beauty things for DD16!

The (IMO) horrid must-have trainers for DD also came back in stock this morning so have nabbed them. Was half hoping they wouldn’t so I wouldn’t have to look at the monstrosities on her feet 😂

We picked up some The Ordinary half price in & Other Stories, and she's chosen some Bubble and Byoma sets that she likes.

In other news, having seen the sewing machine thread (as in literal Mumsnet thread, not a cotton bobbin 😀) I mentioned that to her and that's going to be her main present. As I said before she customises her own clothes, adores sewing at school and says she'd love to be able to make her own stuff to wear. I never would have thought of it as I can't even sew a button on so that's a second Mumsnet thread I have to be grateful for!

Having taught herself BSL (& been recognised for it) she's announced she's now teaching herself Dutch 😀

I got the diamond veil highlighter and the mini lip gloss bomb in ‘sweet mouth’, as I know DD will use these!

@hby9628 Only Curls are expensive but my daughter loves them. They do a box of 4 products in a smaller size and also have newsletter sign up discounts etc.

What body sprays/mists are your teens asking for this year? Mine have plenty of SDJ and VS so would like to get something different.

I’ve seen Kylie Jenner one’s about.

My dd has so many VS that I've just bought a limited edition SDJ for her stocking this year. I'm sure the Kylie jenner one would go down well. Dd and her friends were sat phones in hand waiting to pounce when the king kylie edit was released last month.

On perfume, it's a bit pricier but my 16 year old l loves Glossier You and Doux. The small bottles aren't too pricey and there's a few on Vinted.

My 15-year-old LOVES the Lancome La Vie Est Belle perfume.

The Playboy perfumes are nice. I got one for about £15 in Superdrug.

my 13 year old wants a pandora. i’ve bought one from etsy, says it’s a real one just not in the proper box. hope that will work…
as for anything else; no ideas!

DD loves the Fenty make up and Boots have Buy One Get One 1/2 price. Might get some for nieces too!

Have to be honest I would assume a Pandora on etsy would be fake. Etsy used to be a craft site now it’s the same as eBay / amazon / ali express. I cannot see why anyone selling a genuine Pandora would choose to sell it via there.
