I love a Christmas fridge thread, the only thing that annoys me is all the margarine and spreadable butter! Its Christmas buy proper block salted butter, treat yourselves ๐Ÿ˜‚

I have 3 blocks of butter in mine as well as Flora if that helps ๐Ÿ˜†

RoseDog · 21/12/2024 11:27

Adds real butter to Mondays shop...

NoWordForFluffy · 21/12/2024 11:35

We have 'Perfect for Cakes' from Aldi in the fridge for when we make crumble. Plus about 10 blocks of butter for all other baking / daily use!

Lillixyng · 21/12/2024 11:35

I absolutely love the priorities in picture 1. I used to have two fridges, the larger one for the same purpose.

AliasGrape · 21/12/2024 12:01

Hereโ€™s ours up to now - not quite the full picture as the turkey, pigs and sausage meat for stuffing all being collected early Christmas Eve, and the bulk of the booze and soft drinks are in the Wendy house outside ๐Ÿ˜€We probably need a bit more cheese (itโ€™s all in one big Tupperware at the moment to reduce the temptation to just grab a bit every time we open the fridge - from this evening though I reckon itโ€™s open season)

I can't add an image because it's too large! However my Christmas Fridge is looking pretty good, as is the freezer. I've been stocking up on various christmassy bits and pieces as they've come into the shops, but also did a costco run for basics earlier this month.

Only things left to buy are smoked streaky bacon, clotted cream, some soda bread and a flake for the top of the trifle. DH will be dispatched to Sainsbury's tomorrow/Monday for those

I love this thread, and the fact that I won't need to go food shopping until at least the third week in January (other than for bread and milk!)

ivegotthisyeah · 21/12/2024 12:28

It's officially Christmas! I love this thread ๐ŸŽ„

Not the best picture as quite a few things are hidden, but I'm pretty sure if my fridge could groan it would do

The only thing I wanted which isn't here is a pear sponge cake from Waitroise but I don't have it in me to brave the shops today. May do an early run tomorrow.
There's more drinks in the garage and tiny utility room.

I donโ€™t know why I find it so fascinating looking at pictures of other peopleโ€™s fridges ๐Ÿ˜. Itโ€™s nice to see I suppose for ideas.

Canโ€™t decide if this qualifies as a BINGO post or not ๐Ÿ˜‚

I'm surprised that nobody has posted about the poor people who have empty fridges and no money.........

Well, not yet. There's plenty of time.

Iโ€™ve hosted my mum for Christmas the past 25 years. She died earlier this year, so am going to a friendโ€™s for Christmas and Boxing Day. It feels very strange not to be stocking the fridge with the usual items.

My lovely cat was PTS last week so, all in all, my appetite is all over the place re the festive season. Not really fancying proper meals, so I went to M&S last night and stocked up on loads of party food so I can have bits and bobs when I feel like eating. Will also be getting a chicken crown and a thick white loaf on Monday so that I can have chicken sandwiches - I blooming love them! Iโ€™ve included a close up of the cheese as, knowing how people love to zoom in, you canโ€™t really see what they are in the fridge.

The only other thing I need to get is some red wine. But my lovely friend started my stock off by having some sent to me on Friday (Iโ€™ll be getting mine from Aldi as my budget doesnโ€™t stretch that far).

Looking forward to seeing plenty more fridge photos early in the week. I always look forward to this thread and will be steadfastly ignoring any miseries that drop in.

Love this thread, Iโ€™ve been in MN for 20 years and this is the highlight of Christmas ๐Ÿคฃ. Marking my place as I donโ€™t have a photo to share yet but have cleaned my fridge out ready for the big shop on Monday.

Sorry for the loss of your cat Flowers

Some very tempting things in your fridge - hope your appetite improves.

I'm always very well stocked on Coke Zero too.

๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚. This made me laugh, ours are in a huge plastic storage box at the back door.

My butter is on the counter, in a butter dish. And yes, itโ€™s (Anchor) salted butter!

Dampfnudeln · 21/12/2024 16:39

My fridge is almost empty cos we're travelling to the UK to visit family. I know their fridges will look like these, I can't wait. Also very much looking forward to getting in a British supermarket again!
