I feel like this year is going to be my year of terrible cheesy Christmas pun thread titles Xmas Grin

Greetings and welcome one and all to a friendly and joyful corner of mn - the Christmas bargain thread. Here, we share Christmas present purchases, ideas, links and discount codes, with the aim to spread the Christmas magic and joy and reduce the financial stress.

It's a very busy thread, so see the tips below for helping everything run smoothly and avoiding repetitions of Cookiegate etc al. It's a lovely, friendly bunch and I'm so grateful to each and every one of you for building such a warm, fuzzy and generous spot on mn. I know I've save so much over the years and am so grateful to all of you for sharing.

Pull up a sleigh and relax with a mulled wine and mince pie, for Christmas has nearly arrived!

Some of the below is copied and pasted from previous years, so do @ me if the links don't work

Stock informer is a handy site http://www.stockinformer.co.uk/default.aspx?fullsite=1

Camelcamelcamel is a great amazon price tracking tool http://uk.camelcamelcamel.com

The following links compare price products including postage

www.find-cd.co.uk

www.find-game.co.uk (as in PS4/xbox etc)

@ me if you need anything or you want to let me know anything - the thread moves so fast I can't always keep up so this really helps

Late to the whitefox trend… dd 15, size 8-10 petite, any recommendations on size I should order for her? I know they’re meant to be oversized but also want her to wear it if I buy it without looking daft 🙈

TuftyMarmoset · 21/09/2024 15:58

Thanks for the tip about Whistlefish - I went through TCB and used code WF9808R on top of the 10 for £10 to get 25 for £25.50 delivered.

There is a Milton Brown TSV on 2nd October so might be worth waiting until then.

Also, the new thread has started btw.

I think it's a genetic code @PostPopper 😊

Someaddedsugar · 21/09/2024 20:12

my Daughter is a size 8/10 and buys the small in the joggers and a s/m in the hoodie. - but she does like her hoodies big.

They're such lovely books. I'd also recommend the audiobook read by David Tennant. Glorious.

All, on whistlefish, I’m not even sure how it happened, but I used the Microsoft look for discounts thing at checkout and I got 10 cards for £7.25 incl delivery!
Seems there is a stackable code 545_INTRO.

Thanks for this! Not sure how you got the free delivery too, but I got 20 lovely cards for £13.50 (plus another £3.75 for delivery) using the codes you mentioned and I'm really pleased with that. I've got loads of birthdays coming up in the next few months and the cards for them are all now sorted ...

Ceejadess · 23/09/2024 07:53

Is the very 20% off toys still valid? Can’t find the post with the code!

It was try20 I think, but I couldn’t get it to work on what I wanted even at the time. Also we are on the 2nd thread now, link in comment above yours.
