Greetings and welcome one and all to a friendly and joyful corner of mn - the Christmas bargain thread. Here, we share Christmas present purchases, ideas, links and discount codes, with the aim to spread the Christmas magic and joy and reduce the financial stress.

It's a very busy thread, so see the tips below for helping everything run smoothly and avoiding repetitions of Cookiegate etc al. It's a lovely, friendly bunch and I'm so grateful to each and every one of you for building such a warm, fuzzy and generous spot on mn. I know I've save so much over the years and am so grateful to all of you for sharing.

Haha I have a spreadsheet but I'm not done yet! Although I'd say I'm about two thirds done for DDs and half done for DH. With lots of thanks to this thread for some great ideas.

@leavesandacorns is the £30 set not suitable for a 2 year old who still puts things in her mouth? I think she'd love it but don't want any choking hazards!

We have the bigger one (and have bought a few more as gifts for young children previously). I don't recall there being anything small they can put in their mouth except the paper money.
It's the best gift here - regularly played with by mine and visiting children.

Does anyone know if micro scooters are likely to go in the sale please? 🙏🏼

I'm actually not sure, sorry! I thought the big one had loose cherries included, but on second look, I think they might be attached to the actual ice creams?
