Thanks @snowmanshoes for the title!

Hello everyone, so nice to see you all. Pull up a chair, have a mince pie and a peppermint latte and share your Christmas bargains and ideas. In message two are the links and info from last year - if anyone has anything they'd like me to amend or add, please do tag me and I'll update.

A reminder not to post affiliate links in the thread but that MN do change amazon links shared by posters into MN affiliate links.

Please do watch the thread rather than post to mark place to make it easier for everyone to keep up and find relevant info.

A massive thank you to those who have contributed and/or run the prequel threads this year. I can't believe it's another year! I started these when DD was a baby and she's just gone into Year 8!

I suppose @Darkbutstarrynight but I still think it’s out of order. Hopefully no one is buying them at the current price, (that’s why they were reduced and in the outlet in the first place.)

Athlebad · 15/09/2023 15:54

Sending out thanks for the tips on Gruum and Aldi's version of Squishmallows - picked up a medium sized Sloth from Aldi on Thursday evening which feels so pleasing and will be great for my sensory-seeking child.

Athlebad · 15/09/2023 15:58

I'm underwhelmed by the Online Home Stores oversized hoodies that were recommended on here though. I bought a child's one and an adult's - they come vacuum packed. I've opened the child's one and the fabric feels quite thin, nothing like the luxuriously padded ones in Primark...

If anyone bought the Echo Show 5 deal the other day, the adjustable stands are down to £11.99 today (normally £22 I think)

I used this offer and here's what I got (when checking out it offered me a couple of extra free samples).

I think the box of wax melts is very pretty and gift-able to someone who loves using them, but everything else I'll keep for us to try out.

Thanks 🙏 just ordered mine

ColeslawSandwich · 15/09/2023 16:57

My gruum items arrived today. Fine for what I paid but there’s no way that bag could usually be £20.

Hickry · 15/09/2023 17:04

The hooded blankets from online home store.... I got the genuine oodie ones from there last year for about £14. I got the oodie by checking which ones they had not heir site against Google images of oodies ones eg googling oodie breakfast print /oodie avocado print/oodie cocktails print. That way I could see which ones on the OHS website were most likely from oodie. I got myself a genuine oodie one. And got my two sweaty kids non genuine ones as they don't need the extra warmth. 🤣 it worked out well. My oodie is very very thick and warm compared to the cheaper ones I ordered my warm blooded kids. There's are much thinner. Which suits them fine. I got one with cocktails on the pattern and I love it!

Totally agree! It's a bit of an odd size too I thought

Vebrithien · 15/09/2023 17:07

@Justhereforthechristmasthreads

The postage label was on the other side of the red gift box. I've sometimes cut up an old Christmas card, and stuck it over.

I agree that the washbag isn't worth £20 on it it's own, but the contents are lovely, and DH particularly likes the brand.

Vebrithien · 15/09/2023 17:09

Gruum also do gift sets (got a brilliant one including razor, shaving soap and shave balm) which they sell in the bags which fill them a little more.

Vebrithien · 15/09/2023 17:10

Anyhoo, hope people aren't disappointed with them.

Justhereforthechristmasthreads · 15/09/2023 17:12

@Vebrithien mine came in a brown postal box but it isn't a worry.

Definitely not disappointed in mine - i had some of the wash bags last year so knew what size they were. Think it's a great find thank you

Yes sorry I didn't mean to sound negative, I'd actually forgotten how little I had paid for it; the products looks great

TheBigFish · 15/09/2023 17:25

My Grazia box arrived and I'm so happy even though I paid £30. I bought it specifically for a couple of items I will gift. And I will very happily have the rest. Got the lipstick on already!

SomeFiggyPudding · 15/09/2023 17:43

Another happy Gruum customer here - got one for my teen son and one on husband’s email for my nephew 👍🏻

Also got some staple smellies presents online at Boots - 1/2 price brands. FCUK sock and spray / shower gel set £7 at the moment. I’m sure it’s been mentioned previously but these threads are flying! Love it 🎄

Not revolutionary, but topcashback has £2.50 bonus today if you spend min £10 at selected shops including argos. So i bought wooden pizza set and wooden toaster set (in 2 for £15 toy offer) and hopefully get £2.50 cashback, so will ultimately get them both for £12.50

HeartshapedFox · 15/09/2023 17:56

Can I ask about Saltrock - what’s the sizing like on the kids’ microfibre poncho towels? I’ve got a tall 11 yr old and wondering whether to just get the men’s one?

I can't find the £2.50 cashback bonus on my TCB account. Did you get an email? I've checked my emails and haven't had one today. I wonder if it's only certain accounts.

MayaTheBusyBee · 15/09/2023 18:34

@RainbowZebraWarrior ah bugger, sorry I meant Quidco

Yeahas · 15/09/2023 19:19

My DD6 wants a Bitzee. Does anyone know if they're any good/ worth it? Have you ever seen them for less than £30? Thanks.

Robyn101 · 15/09/2023 19:20

@YorkshireWelsh love the only curls products too. They’ve just released a brush in collab with Denman app only

evtheria · 15/09/2023 19:22

Anyone had their eye on something special on Etsy? £5 off a £25+ spend plus the usual bit of cashback.

Callmesleepy · 15/09/2023 19:43

Top cashback has 3 for £20 on travel sized espa, usually £10 each. A nice treat with the swim towels?

Simd1 · 15/09/2023 19:44

Fossil just cancelled my handbag. 😭 I don't think it was an issue with the code though, just stock levels.
