Thanks @snowmanshoes for the title!

Hello everyone, so nice to see you all. Pull up a chair, have a mince pie and a peppermint latte and share your Christmas bargains and ideas. In message two are the links and info from last year - if anyone has anything they'd like me to amend or add, please do tag me and I'll update.

A reminder not to post affiliate links in the thread but that MN do change amazon links shared by posters into MN affiliate links.

Please do watch the thread rather than post to mark place to make it easier for everyone to keep up and find relevant info.

A massive thank you to those who have contributed and/or run the prequel threads this year. I can't believe it's another year! I started these when DD was a baby and she's just gone into Year 8!

@BlairWaldorfOG @LemonFrosting

We've got an induction hob and Stellar stainless steel pans. The pans predate the hob by many years but have done good service on electric, gas, induction and even an aga, so I can definitely recommend the brand. They’re sturdy but not too heavy, and clean up well even when you accidentally incinerate something in them 😂 mine look like a deeper version of these and they do a milk pan (the kind with a vertical cup type handle and a pouring spout, great for sauce!) too. There’s always an offer on somewhere!
NB: I’m not sure all stellar pans are induction-friendly though (mine have ‘177’ stamped in the bottom in case that helps).

Don't know if anyone is looking for paw patrol figures. But these seemed like a good deal. All between £3.49 and £3.99.

Does anyone have any recommendations of a balance bike for an 18 month old? Barglnious would be good but if not fine. Just want something good and there seems to be loads of different types

noscoobydoodle · 18/09/2023 16:43

@HelloItsMeAgainHello - my DS has a banana bike and it's brilliant. He got it for Xmas when he was almost 2 and has ridden it every day since. It's very sturdy but lightweight (bonus for if you need to carry it as well!). It lives outside all year round and still looks good as new.

I'm not sure if this has already been mentioned but LOL dolls are BOGOF at Smyths at the moment.

Does anyone have a student discount code for Dunelm please? They offer 10% off to students and I'm spending £800 so hoping I can a little bit!

I need a last minute birthday present for a 13 year old girl. She's had a really tough time recently so I'd like to treat her to something nice. But have no idea what that age group are into. Budget £25 could maybe stretch to 30. All help very welcome.

What’s she into?

Cantthinkofadifferentname · 18/09/2023 16:57

@Reastie on to page 40!

That looks perfect! Thanks for the suggestion. And it's good knowing it's lightweight as I'm guessing I'm going to end up carrying a lot 😂

@Talisin

Apologies for popping this on here, I've just booked a holiday for next month and want to know if something in particular will be going in the sale.

Are you able to check for me please?

No problem. What’s the item?

ChubbyChinook · 18/09/2023 17:08

This is the problem, I'm really not sure what she's into. I'm hoping there's a generic 13 year old gift I could get her?

@whoknows1230 SB23VJXEKSB

@SadlyACupOfTeaDoesNotSolveEverything thank you so much - that's just saved me £81! x

SadlyACupOfTeaDoesNotSolveEverything · 18/09/2023 17:29

@whoknows1230 I’m glad, student DC cost us a fortune so I see access to their student discount as fair game.

@ChubbyChinook my DD and her friends are similar ages and popular gifts seem to be cool pyjamas (new look popular), face masks, make up, make up brushes, oodies (well fake high st ones), cinema voucher, Costa voucher etc.

TheGirlWhoLived · 18/09/2023 17:31

@ChubbyChinook bubble tea set from bubble panda could be a good generic shout for that age!

BlairWaldorfOG · 18/09/2023 17:35

Thanks for all of the induction pan recs, great stuff!

Holidayqueen1 · 18/09/2023 17:40

Not a bargain, but Naked Marshmallow advent calendars available on pre order. Know they were popular last year!

hby9628 · 18/09/2023 17:42

Glossy box has arrived. I got the 4 mystery boxes & have been through them with my tween DD. Fab products! Thank you to whoever spotted them

ChubbyChinook · 18/09/2023 17:49

Thank you @TheGirlWhoLived and @SadlyACupOfTeaDoesNotSolveEverything much appreciated 👍

BoopK · 18/09/2023 18:16

Just want to thank whoever originally posted the Glossybox. My Grazia box has just arrived and I'm thrilled at the quality, even just the box. I know people are disappointed the price has changed, I paid £30, but excellent value for money and I'd buy again at £40

Time for a new thread

HelloItsMeAgainHello · 18/09/2023 18:17

I know bubble tea was mentioned as a gift for teens. They also do little kits now in tesco. Would be good for stockings
