Love this thread, good stocking filler for Harry Potter fans are chocolate frogs on sale at Harvey Nichols, they come with a collectable card similar to the film. Really need to focus on getting a few presents sorted today , I’ve virtually nothing and lots of adults to buy for . Still dithering on the glossy boxes , because they are old stock and also because I’d want to open and see who they are suitable for and then the fancy packing is spoilt , also would probably want to swap bits round for people and that makes the card explaining each product unusable and people will know they aren’t getting the whole box . BUT if if repackage the items they won’t look as nice , see where my dithering is getting me ……..

Off to John Lewis this afternoon and I live in the middle of nowhere and don’t get to go very often. Anything I should be looking out for?

I.v got the glossy boxes coming and I’m planning on opening them all and splitting the contents between my dd and dsd. It won’t be as pretty but at least they will get stuff they like.

Just sorted my mums birthday so thank you! Fossil handbag (an upgrade on her primark one that has seen better days!), going to fill with her handbag essentials, a Costa voucher, mini wet brush, polos, clipper lighter and I'm hoping to get something suitable in the glossy boxes to add!

The rest of the glossy box hopefully will have suitable things for dd2's advent calendar im making. Currently saving toilet roll tubes to make some monstrosity my friend sent me! 🤣

Aldis version of squishmallows are in store this morning . Really nice. Got an xl one for £19.99 and it’s ginormous, very impressed. They had lots of medium and small ones too, not many xl ones in store. One of each kind.. the staff said not likely to be around more than a couple of hours before sold out . So just a heads up.

None of the XL ones in my local
store. But luckily my husband got the last unicorn one in the store next to his office.
