Ha ha! There’s a reason some of this went out of fashion! But joking aside, I have bought my son second hand t shirts at his request as the 90s skate look is back. This could be my lowest Xmas spend ever this year thanks to the current trends.

I love the night before Christmas story ddo much, for the last few years we've read it every night in December, taking turns reading and last year my daughter picked an accent for me to read in, Chinese and Scottish being the favs.

For 90's big hoop ear rings, I had so many pairs! I also remember wearing tights with my school skirts with chunky socks, along with the huge alice bands and wearing dewberry spray. We all thought we were so cool 🤦‍♀️ and yes to the heather shimmer lipstick 😀 this is making me reminisce as well!

For your 90s present, can you still get hyper colour change t shirts? What a ridiculous idea they were - highlighting the sweaty bits 😂

Also these socks which I need myself which are from truffle shuffle although they are pretty expensive

Re: 90s present, my 10 yo bought some Charlie Red in savers the either day!! Trip down memory lane. Inflatable photo frame. Oh what was the nail varnish with a plastic ring on it? Hard Candy?

Posca pen sets currently on offer in Asda; packs of 8 fine point pastels or brights are £12 instead of £16, which is the best price I’ve seen them in ages!

You guys have not disappointed - these are all brilliant suggestions - rugrat nighties - who knew?! Found some hard candy on eBay. Bath pearls are pricey it seems and, as someone rightly said, a possible health and safety issue (don’t want to be responsible for sending sis to A and E on Boxing Day drunk on Hooch after slipping on penguin bath pearl juice wearing a Tommy rugrat nightie and a large velvet scrunchie 😂 )

I was a 90s kid so loving reading these posts. Just to add, I had a look for GroovyChick, which led me to Etsy, which led me to loads of 90s stuff! I put £5 maximum limit on and there are quite a few nostalgic things for like £3! Definitely worth a look, cartoon scrunchies etc too, so some useable things... perhaps not so much the Mr Blobby balloon but it'l could be fun when it popped out of a gift box...

Keeping an eye out for teenage boy bargains, thanks to the last two threads, my niece's and nephew's are all bought for 🥰

Mortimer's Christmas manger is a favourite of ours as I love the illustrator Jane Chapman who illustrated The Bear snores on 🥰🥰🥰
