Christmas Day breakfast

Hi , what do you all have for breakfast on Christmas morning ? We usually have Christmas dinner around 2-2.30 so don’t usually have anything too heavy

Stockings at 7 ish. Full English about 8 including homemade hash browns. Open presents at 9.
Crepes and coffee at 11.
Lunch about 2 30.
Food coma about 6..

Couple of bags of the frozen croissants from Waitrose.

Quality street and champagne. I thought that was a standard breakfast for everyone

Christmas tree crumpets and mimosas! Christmas dinner will be about 1, then dessert about 3 and then just some sharing bits around 7

I normally buy frozen or those fresh jus roll pain au chocolate and croissants.

This year we have lion bar cereal (dh’s favourite) and I’ve bought a roll of puff pastry and will attempt a pastry Nutella twisty thing I think.

Along with the chocolate and sweets that appear throughout the morning as well.

Honestly I have to keep lunch on the go a bit longer..... They moan it should be ready at 1!!

Bacon rolls.

Bacon, pancakes and maple syrup, berries and greek yogurt.

Smoked salmon on English muffins and scrambled eggs with Buck's Fizz

We’re having smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on sourdough (and Buck’s Fizz)

Then have snacks on the go throughout the day with a main event about 4ish

We always have pork pie and bucks fizz!

Part baked Roll finished in the oven filled with Bacon, Brie, grapes and cranberry sauce/mayo. Lovely

We're having mince pie porridge, frozen pastries (pain au chocolat and croissants), and Prosecco.

Last year I did pancakes, bacon, maple syrup, Greek yoghurt and raspberries.

Eggs Royale at about 10.00-10.30 with Buck’s Fizz, then Christmas dinner somewhere around 3pm, help yourself to anything situation if anyone is hungry later.

Thick cut bacon in warm croissants, yum.

In the days we "did" Christmas it was something like chocolate and the satsumas from the stockings.

Nowadays it's more likely to be porridge before we head out for a long hill climb. Once it was sandwiches and a mince pie on a mountaintop, that was my favourite.

Full Scottish at about 930-10am

Square sausage, bacon, black pudding, tattie scone, eggs.

Dinner about 3/4 pm

We usually have poached eggs from our hens with ham or muffins depending on carb requirements. And coffee.

We pretend to have bucks fizz, but the second glass turns into a very small ratio of orange juice to champagne, so basically champagne.

Lunch is about 2pm. But in the meantime parents arrive and we have blinis and champagne and pigs in blankets and crisps. (we don't have turkey so the pigs in blankets are instead of having them with lunch)

Sausage barms. Buck's Fizz. Whatever nice chocolate gifts we get.

We go to neighbours to eat Christmas dinner. about three.

Pancakes streaky bacon and maple syrup we have it for brunch then have turkey etc at 3ish

porridge made with milk. Topped with soft brown sugar and cream! Basically pudding
