M&S 12 days of treats - rubbish!!

I see others have had free bottles gin and other delights, and am feeling a bit miffed.

I got a free small hand cream (which they didn’t even have at my local M&S) on the first day, and it’s been utter rubbish every day since - think 15% off women’s rights, 20% off skincare, 15% off a Panettone, £1 off a light up shortbread lantern. Just so disappointing.
Anyone else feeling the same? Does it go by how much you spend in M&S, I spent maybe £800 a year I’d say. Perhaps that not enough to get the good stuff?!

I got free chocolate coins the rest is just discount after discount

Lidls is even worse - mo free items at all just discounts of one particular item.

I got the gin on day one, but everything else has been crap. Discounted pants yesterday, and discount off socks today.

I got so fed up of never getting any offers on my sparks about 18 months ago that I just stopped scanning it in store. I think the gin was a bribe, because as far as they could tell I'd stopped shopping there entirely.

I’ve had some good offers this year, last year was rubbish! I had a free box of florentine’s which was great but I’ve been waiting for money off slippers, so I’m very jealous some of you have had that discount!

100% agree. I didn’t even get the free gin. Mine was Christmas stocking lights which they didn’t even have in stock and the rest has been 10% off etc. I spend a fair amount of money in there and yet got sod all in return. Had all ready decided that I wasn’t spending money on their greatly overpriced Christmas food this year (it was really disappointing last year and not particularly tasty) but the reward gifts this month have made me even more determined to shop elsewhere for Christmas food. Shame on them.

Agree, absolute rubbish. All I’ve had so far is the free light up tea bag thing on the first day and since then just money off offers. Makes me cross when I read about the free gin and Prosecco. I spend a bloody fortune in there too. 🤬

No freebies here just rubbish discounts. We buy most of our food at m&s so I wondered if their strategy was to entice infrequent shoppers. We spend a lot there. I might stop scanning my sparks card as the offers are awful.

I've had free Prosecco, the light up gin liqueur and chocolate coins. An extra 10% on top of usual discount and 30% off Christmas jumpers on top of discount

The normal ones are definitely not tailored to me. I rarely get anything that makes sense.

I get loads of percy pigs. I have never bought them. I got a loaf of bread a couple of times. I didn't even bother picking them up as I bake my own. I have gotten free stuff in the cafe. The nearest M&S cafe is over 200km away.

I got handcream on day one but I haven't been able to collect it and I think it might be too late now. Everything else has been discounts I am not likely to use

What do people expect, this is all free and of course they will use it as a way to get people into the shop when they might not have gone there. They can’t afford to give free items every day for the length of this promotion.

I think the last day is tomorrow to collect.

I got the gin, and a friend got Percy pigs, the rest are just money off things

I got hand cream on the first day then they changed it to satsumas which were awful. Nothing great after that. Would have liked an underwear discount but never mind

I have had a free percy pig tree ornament that has never been in stock. Other than just discount codes of things I am unlikely to buy at the moment such as Kids underwear ( just stocked up last month at M and S Grr )

I missed the first couple of days as their emails about it went to my spam so I think I missed the best offers. It's all discounts now on stuff I wouldn't use. We only have a small food store near us and the bigger store is a long trip away.

I got a free robin decoration on day 1... which wasn't available in store. Neither were any of the alternatives. I did finally manage to get a free tube of hand cream in my third visit to the store.

I've had money off crisps, pants, bras, cushions, flowers, skincare, an invitation to pay for the additional rewards on and M&S credit card, money off a light up shortbread tin a Samsung deal (have an iPhone) and Tonies (still don't know what they are?!!).

I've used a few of the money off things... I've saved about £12 in total... not quite what I'd been hoping for but as it was stuff I needed I guess it's been ok. Very jealous of those that got free gin or Prosecco.

I've been able to access the 12th day gift this evening... it's an entry to a grand prize draw to win a holiday. Very disappointed... the likelihood of winning is zero. I just wanted some free wine 😜

I spend loads in there too (it's my local food shop). I got the gin liqueur on day one and just discounts since too.
My mum borrowed my sparks card last month and got her shopping for free, she was treating me to lunch and got it paid for
