I only have DH's birthday present from my parents to wrap, and find him a replacement card from the kids as the one I bought online on 4 Dec hasn't appeared. I'll do that while I'm out for my appointment.

I wish DD was more like your DS, Wreck, as she's a proper dilly dolly daydream and keeps loosening hold to do god knows what. 🙄 The amount of times I bollocked her...

I booked to stay in London again next summer for two nights as the kids do love it!

Oh, and yes, the puzzle thing would really piss me off.

Hello everyone mince pies start today two a day untill Boxing Day some home made by a friend.

Just took in my Sainsbury’s delivery! And it is DS’ last day in school so feeling real now :)

My Morrisons delivery is coming tonight. Waiting to see if there are any substitutions.

My daughter is coming to build the gingerbread house shortly as well.

Doing new tree lovely but having to do in stages as it’s Killy back bending over the lower branches once their done much easier then the lights can go on not doing baubles the lights can be the decoration. A thousand of them

And yes my magic turned up two theatre tickets seeing Mathew 9n to kill a mockingbird bird next March I’ve floated since then and will float into next year 2023 here we come best Christmas ever for me, my faith new friends new home new start my 007 novels the autographs the tickets. Next year my two very special friends will be spoilt to say thank you. They’ve had presents this year but next year they’ll have nicer ones as they deserve.

DH is watching Die Hard 2 ( it's pretending to be a Christmas film but it is so bloody boring not cutting it )

Sainburys food shop arrived. The driver got lost as he used his sat nav despite me putting where we were in the delivery notes. Two crates of food for £95 😱 but at least I don’t need to go into a supermarket now (except for the last minute gift I bought my sister from John Lewis that I need to collect from Waitrose tomorrow).

Wreck I collected my shopping on Monday and need to pick up my order from the butcher tomorrow. I suspect my fridge won't have a "Christmas Fridge" look as the family have eaten most of what I bought on Monday 🤦🏻‍♀️ I do need to put the booze in though so that might fill it up nicely.

DH and I saw The Nutcracker this evening so feeling festive. I thought I had finished shopping but have suddenly discovered extra gifts we need to buy and had extra food requests. Fingers crossed.

Making mince pies and jam tarts today and wrapping the last presents. So close now!

Morning. I feel a bit sick today. Chucking it down here too which isn’t very festive.

I'm at the airport now. Check in and security etc were really quick plus we paid for meet & greet parking so we got through earlier than we needed.

We've been on our last Santa train today. They've cut back on the presents and drinks offered, plus the kids are coming to an end with Santa, so we won't be going again. It's quite poignant really as we've done various Santa trains since DD was a baby, which is ten years of them!

We're on the way home after lunch in Pizza Express in Skipton, then it's only me who needs to leave the house again tomorrow, to do all of my Christmas order collections (Booths, Morrisons, Sainsbury's and our local cheese shop). The kids will come to the village to buy carrots for the reindeer, but I'll do Booths and Morrisons alone.

Once I'm home, it's baking and drinking relaxing ahead.

I don't think I updated after seeing the consultant yesterday. I need an MR Arthrogram and an x-ray. He will then see me with a plan. He also thinks I need nerve conduction studies on the right hand side for carpal tunnel. The joys!

I just got back from Waitrose, it was so quiet, if you need a supermarket dash then go there. I guess the majority of their clientele are already in bed or too scared to drive in the dark 😅

I'm in the collection queue at Booths. My alarm didn't go off, so I've been awake 27 minutes. Literally threw clothes on, went to loo and left!

Lots to do today. Starting late wasn't in the plan. 🙄

Oh that’s annoying! I woke up at 5:50 which is annoying as I had a late night (for me) due to having to do all the wrapping which I hadn’t even started 😂

Dh isn’t working today which is a miracle. My parents are coming round this morning and my other parents this afternoon. We will do our traditional Costa trip then collect a nice pizza from sainburys for dinner. The Costa closes at 5 so we will need to kick my parents out by 4 😅 or they can come with us.

Had some delays on our second flight yesterday so didn't get to the hotel until gone 8pm, almost 3 hours later than planned But I don't care. It's -3° right now, it snowed all evening and the little town were in is so pretty.
We've had a lie in, breakfast and showers etc. Going out for a walk soon so we can have a good look around and I want to do a hot chocolate stop. Then it's back here to chill out before going out for a meal.
