Yes crazy. Took me two hours but I did it!

I got a too good to go bag from Costa and got loads in it this evening. Just cooking pizza and watching catchphrase. Ds is tracking Santa he still fully believes.

Wreck, our two are tracking too. DS appears to still believe. DD I don't think does really, but is going along with it! 🎅🏻

I've spent the afternoon baking, and have done mince pies, muffins, Madelines, brownie and cinnamon swirls, as well as doing my gammon.

I have plenty of food for tomorrow. Never knowingly under-catered! 🤣

Are you a very fast wrapper Wreck? I took longer than that to do mine and I didn't have much (but I do mooch and watch Christmas films while doing it).

We've been out for a walk around the town we're staying in (and I got my hot chocolate stop).
The sun doesn't come up but it does get grey light for a few hours - but this starts disappearing at around 1pm 😳
It's very pretty but some parts were so icy, I'm not sure how I haven't landed on my arse yet tbh.

Been out for food the back to the hotel. We're now having a little drink with cookies and watching Christmas films as pretty much everywhere here is closed now.

I was at work till 14.00 and it was a crazy shift one way or another. I went to see an old school friend whose dad is in hospital.

I am tracking santa and I am here downstairs by myself peeling veg. Went for a drive with our adult daughter to look at local Christmas lights which was fun.

So envious crazy it sounds amazing.

lovely Christmas Eve here, walk this morning them carol service where DS performed one carol with the village kids group and sang amazingly. Then buffet and die hard once DS was in bed. Heading to bed myself now!

Ds just came into my wool asking why dh wasn’t in bed. So pleased he didn’t go downstairs! He never wakes up at night must be the excitement.

Die hard on here too then bed.

Yes the deleted posts were a YouTube video , I didn't click on them (in case they were something malaware or not for mine eyes )

I got DS to wrap the present for DH (book) and me (earrings) that he bought .

I made a trifle (no jelly) for tomorrow , but I;m 100% determined that blasted Christmas Pudding will finally make it's appearance at some time , probably Monday .

DH and DD watched Knives Out and Glass Onion, now DH is watching Taken2 (after Taken ) I'm only watching 'cos it's susposedly set in Instanbul (which is on my bucket list)

Only 10 minutes to go now , the CountDown has well and truely Counted Down

15 minutes , I can tell the time (honest)

I've woken up for no apparent reason, annoyingly. Kids are still asleep!

Ds woke up at 6:20. Not too bad. They’re both very pleased with their stockings dd especially so although she kept having to correct herself each time she opened something and said thank you 😅

Dh huffing about (would it be Christmas otherwise?!) because I went into the kitchen to find he hadn’t washed up last night (I had said I would do it but he said that he would) and the kitchen is small etc so I said I couldn’t make breakfast and he got all stroppy and said of course I could it’s only a few cups (plates, cups, pizza trays x 3, glasses etc) 🤨

Anyway happy Christmas everyone we did another year!

I'm very tired but have had a great day. Spent in on a whale watching trip. I'm not the best sailor 🤢 but we saw orcas and humpbacks!
Have been out for food, had a walk and again watching Christmas films with snacks in the hotel room. I let DH choose and he chose Nativity 🙄 but it's 10:30 here and I'll probably be asleep soon.

Lovely quiet Christmas Day here , dinner was a relaxing cook with me faffing about in a Nigel Slater-ey way
I'd already dine some prep before which helped ,
DS and the cats have chicken which took longer than I thought to defrost .

DD and I are watching An Inspector Calls now ( the David Thewlis version) , the dishwasher and the breadmaker are quietly rumbling away

Crazy are you going on a husky sleigh ride ? (Only if you do , remember they get quite "excited" when they run and it gets kicked back at the sled . I'd sit at the back if I was you ! )
