Probably other things - Must write a list of things that need doing!!

LowFat · 20/12/2007 17:32

Wrap DH pressie with DD as is from her.
Wait to see if my catalogue delivers a top in time for my friend or go and get him a bottle of JD
Wait to see if DS personalised stocking bought on E-bay arrives...it was only paid for on the 10th, but apparently they have had technical problems and have promised it by Special Delivery
Go to farmers market tomorrow for veg
Got to Buthcers Sunday for Turkey
Got to local supermarket Sunday with DH for milk, lemonade and Baileys (and anything else we have'nt already got, but might fancy because it's that time of year)

Chrsitmas Eve....do the s.t.o.c.k.i.n.g.s [frin]

Christmas Day - await arrival of IL's

PestohohohoMonster · 20/12/2007 17:33

Oh God, yes, still got to go to the farm and pick up the turkey. Ooops, nearly forgot!

ComeOVenReadyturkey · 20/12/2007 17:34

The only thing I have left to do is make the centrepeice for the table and do the other foliage decorations around the house (mistletoe and garlands on bannisters etc) which can't be done until Sunday so they are fresh.

Will need to have a quick whizz around with duster/hoover, bathroom cleaner to make house guest ready so will leave that until xmas eve morning before they arrive.

Sparkler · 20/12/2007 17:46

I was going to be very organised this year. Tuesday night I pulled my sodding calf muscle in my right leg and have been laid up resting it for two bloody days . Now everything has fallen behind. The house is a tip, the wrapping still needs to be done, still haven't delivered a bundle of Christmas cards. Then there's the food shop to do which DH has said he will do (although I will admit that I'm nervous in case he forgets something).
I'm really fed up.

janeite · 20/12/2007 17:55

Finish marking Yr 11's exam papers and do their reports, so I don't have to do it over the holiday.

Wrap the dds' pressies and dp's - all others are done.

Food shop coming tomorrow and then just need to get the fresh stuff at some point (probably v. early Christmas Eve, combined with trip to the deli for coffee and cake).

Make mince pies.

DP is blitzing the house right now, whilst I lurk on here, pretending to be writing reports!

Coolchristmasfairy · 20/12/2007 17:57

write my packing list for our trip to Paris

mumeeee · 20/12/2007 18:02

Buy a few more presents particulary one for DD2 18 she still does not know what she wants but knows she doesn't want money. She had a lot of oney for her 18th. Wrap presnts and finish puting up decorations. Get DD2 and 3 to tidy their rooms as DD1 and MIl are coming and need some where to sleep!
