Has everyone who placed an order with the glitchy code either received items or a cancellation notice/refund?

I've received all my order delivered by DHL on Monday and Tuesday.

All of my order was delivered on Monday by DHL.

I'm absolutely appalled at the thieves who took advantage. Should be ashamed of themselves

What happened?

Ah, so glad we got a whole three messages in before the negativity that got the last thread deleted returned 🙄🙄

My order arrived, some bits via DHL, some bits with Royal Mail

Gutted I missed it 😂

Got one item on Monday, the other 5 or so on Tuesday. Both packages from DHL

What was it ?

Apparently there was a code you could enter at check out that was intended to give you £20 off your basket, but it had been coded by either the work experience kid or someone who'd just been sacked, and it gave £20 off every item with no minimum spend.

So people ordered a shit load of stuff and hardly paid for it.

I think that's what people were saying, @Lipsandlashes. Or something like that.

So every thread over all of the years we’ve done the bargains has had code glitches. So what you are saying is anyone who has used a code is a thief?

I received all my order yesterday by Royal Mail

Great glad you are all receiving them. Nobody is stealing anything JL had plenty of time to cancel orders.

I didn’t take part in this but curious to understand - how are people thieves? JL had a code that worked in a legit way, then the deliveries have been made?

It’s hardly like the big hack was “go to JL in a floor length coat then steal lipstick and hide it under your coat”

Well I missed out on £50 e-gift card that I should have got by taking out JL home insurance (it turns out you needed to register a load of details within 28 days), so that’s £50 extra they’ve swindled out of me. So don’t feel too bad.

I had no involvement in the thread and haven't ordered anything from JL but I work in a job which requires me to have a very good understanding of Home Office Counting Rules (HOCR) for crime and I can 100% tell you that you are wrong, this is not theft.

Bloody devastated that I missed it!

First time I've ever been described as a theif I ordered a few things that I'm still waiting to be delivered.

Only ordered a couple of extra things - was late to the code so in a rush - delivered via DHL.

I received all my items but am still torturing myself about returning them.
