please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets
No space
Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

Right .. since I am unwell and housebound for a while yet I’d like to treat myself to a Lego set ! Specifically the gingerbread house - have I any hope of getting it cheaper ?? Does anyone know of a John Lewis code ? It’s for sale just with JL and official Lego site ..

@Borris I got dd’s sprocket last year on Black Friday for almost half price on a lightning deal. Put it on camel camel camel and be ready to be fast! I think it was about £60 iirc

I had been ignoring the HC codes as what I wanted wasn't included in codes, but somebody posted about the meltingly gift and it included the batons DP has desperately wanted!

Thanks for the codes

@pasinphoebe I’m going to get it too, it goes in and out of stock regularly on JL but if you’re a semi regular (or regular!) purchaser of Lego as of this weekend the Lego website will have double VIP points (can swap for money off vouchers) and in the past they’ve done additional freebies too but not money off. If you sign up to My John Lewis they might give you an offer of a £5 voucher for next time when you spend £50. Wish I’d bought it when they had money off Lego codes back in September and October!

I am still dithering over the HC. Keep adding and removing things from my basket as it still seems quite expensive even with the discount. But I think that is because I want to buy for myself so harder to justify!

My DH has charmingly chucked out my Lakeland vouchers. If anyone has a spare that would give some money off a £40 spend I would be v v grateful.
