please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets
No space
Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

It can’t be an address already registered, so if you’ve taken advantage of it before I’d suggest a new email and delivery address. @Fuckingfuckssake it’s yours if you want it. I’m not posting on here as sick of lurkers swooping

I am also resisting the Hotel Chocolat offer as we have a load of chocolate bars from Tony Chocoloney, thanks Waitrose, amongst other goodies.

Were we actively looking for extra chocolate, it's a good reduction!

Well that’s our shops here in NI closing for 2 weeks from next Friday. Cue the next week being utterly bunged. We are moving into a new house next week so frantically now trying to complete the list of what we need which has to be bought in store. Have realised though that it might well mean we can’t buy a Christmas tree (real one) until after Dec 11th Sad

Reposting after spoiling the musical conclusion to the last thread: Blush

Random request of the day. Has anyone seen anything themed around the Ballerina film? (It's on Netflix) DD (who is 3) just loves it, watches it all the time, listens to the soundtrack (doesn't even do ballet ). I've looked for merchandise but other than a very cold looking tutu have pretty much drawn a blank. Has anyone seen anything?? TIA

TheCrow · 19/11/2020 21:07

@balaamsAss supermarkets have got real trees in pots in at the moment so you might be able to pick one up if you're doing your shopping in store and not online

Does anyone know of any discount codes for fleurtations please? There’s a jellycat I’d like for my nephew but I’m already spending way too much money on him Grin

I’ve just had an email that Hobbycraft have started their Black Friday deals, if anyone was thinking of buying something from there. I haven’t looked what’s actually included as I don’t trust myself not to spend even more money haha

@icanboogieboogiewoogie

My dd loved that film. I havent seen anything connected with it but at that age I bought DD the story orchestra nutcracker book. Still a favourite.

I would say anything nutcracker related or maybe a musical box with ballerina that twirls?

Amazon Fire stick lite down to £19.99

I actually bought this four days ago for £29.99, so this is a great price!
And Amazon have been pretty good and refunded me the extra £10 I paid when I complained.

I tried SO hard to resist the allure of the bargainous Hotel Chocolat and so many of you made me giggle as you were clearly having the same internal struggle. After fighting the urge for 24 hours I finally caved and have just bought the Merry Christmas Everyone collection. However as I’m the only real trougher it’s really a Merry Christmas Me collection.

Anyway the point of my message was to say thank you to the poster(s) who gave the details, I’m really chuffed. Thank you also to the poster who alerted about the jelly beans on Amazon. I couldn’t get them at the lowest bargainous price but they were still half price and perfect as one of my nephew’s gifts if I can keep them hidden from the family till then!
