Argghhhh, I’m so sorry, I hope I haven’t lost you all! I was keeping a beady eye then got distracted trying to work out how to forward plan a Zoom call for work and invite someone, which should only take a few minutes but I’m incompetent and it took me far too long Blush .

@CarrotVan I hope it was the former!

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets
No space
Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

Thanks @Reastie, was beginning to worry I’d lose you all. My credit card wouldn’t be bothered but I would.
If anyone is needing some festive fun it’s the virtual unveiling of the Fenwicks window tonight.

CarrotVan · 08/11/2020 17:44

@Reastie the gin didn’t arrive but I did have other gin instead

Mrsfussypants1 · 08/11/2020 17:46

Thank you about the Fenwicks window reminder Iggy off to check it out.

Gardenworm · 08/11/2020 17:49

@ lifeinahamsterwheel (can't tag as your comment was in the last thread) - thanks for the next oodie review, I was hoping someone would post about them. Do you mind telling me how tall your DD is? Trying to work out what size to go for...

Chocolateteabag · 08/11/2020 17:52

@ScoobySnacker - DS1 just received a birthday present via Wicked Uncle and it came beautifully wrapped with a pre-paid thankyou card to send back to the gifters (SIL & BIL) so I would recommend from the recipient pov.

@Gurufloof - DH has a 33-34 inside leg and can only get away with the "long" trousers from MW, if they are not specifically marked as long, they are half mast on him. He's 6ft1" so not "tall" tall

BicycleMadeForTwo · 08/11/2020 17:52

Thanks Restie.

If anyone has a Matalan discount code I would really appreciate it. Have filled my basket with £50 worth of stuff and hopefully that’s me finished with my list! Thanks!

recklessgran · 08/11/2020 17:52

@TheRealMrsJamieFraser how lovely of you to post this but please don't worry! Do you still need a Stackers code or are you sorted now?

Bryna · 08/11/2020 17:54

@Chocolateteabag thank you, a couple more places to add to my list, I end up finding items, then having to google the company, read all the reviews, try to work out whether they are fake!!
You end up going around in circles 🥴

It's much nicer if people can recommend stores.

sugarplumfairy2010 · 08/11/2020 17:55

Zalando have lots of coverse discounted and if you sign up to there newsletter you get £10 off a £60 spend.

sugarplumfairy2010 · 08/11/2020 17:57

@TheRealMrsJamieFraser that was a reply to you about converse.

TheCrow · 08/11/2020 18:05

@IggyAce thank you for the reminder about the Fenwick's window, it's been Christmas tradition for years to go and see it in Newcastle, it's my 'its not officially Christmas until...' thing and I'm incredibly sad that I won't get to do it this year!

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 08/11/2020 18:11

Thanks for the new thread @Reastie . I'm struggling to keep up this year.

Does anyone use Kate Somerville. She has an offer buy 3 products to get 20% off. Expensive but lovely to split for gifts.

Kate somerville

ScoobySnacker · 08/11/2020 18:12

Thanks @Chocolateteabag

1stTimeMama · 08/11/2020 18:13

@TheLastStarfighter I have a real Oodie and have had no trouble with static at all. I wear it daily, and love it! All of my children want one now too, they regularly try and get in it with me!

XFPW · 08/11/2020 18:20

Thanks @Reastie for another thread.

Any recommendations and/or bargains for mini fridges for teen DS?

Theonlyoneiknow · 08/11/2020 18:22

Thanks Reastie desperately seeking 20% off code for Schuh or Office if anyone has one spare Flowers

Junobug · 08/11/2020 18:22

A few threads ago, someone linked some really pretty gin glasses that I think were painted with flowers and bugs. I didn't need them at the time but my toddler smashed my favourite gin glass last week so I wanted to add them to my Christmas list. I've looked but can't remember what thread they were in.

straighthairdontcare · 08/11/2020 18:24

Annuals for £2.99 in aldi if anyone is looking for sticking fillers.

straighthairdontcare · 08/11/2020 18:24

Or even stocking fillers

TheLastStarfighter · 08/11/2020 18:27

Thanks @1stTimeMama

I've just bought a really nice gin glass by Sunny by Sue. was cheaper on Amazon than buying direct
