Argghhhh, I’m so sorry, I hope I haven’t lost you all! I was keeping a beady eye then got distracted trying to work out how to forward plan a Zoom call for work and invite someone, which should only take a few minutes but I’m incompetent and it took me far too long Blush .

@CarrotVan I hope it was the former!

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

@Helssjbells they are £25 from Asda. We picked up one this year from the range for similar cost.

I love them, my husband hates them 😂

Cinderellashoes · 09/11/2020 09:24

If you use the code CHRISTMAS on Disney store you get a free key decoration thingy

livingthegoodlife · 09/11/2020 09:24

I've ordered the Barbie dream house but the delivery date is up to 9th January!!!! I'm hoping to secure a more reliable delivery from another source.

Also take care it arrives in the actual box! I've had mine sent to my mum's house.

I am slightly concerned there seems to be a shortage though, lots of places are out of stock.

TheRosariojewels · 09/11/2020 09:26

@Mumto3thatsme

Wow! I have never seen the lottie stables anywhere near as low as that before. Thanks so much. My daughter has just got back into her lottie dolls and wants all the pet ones.

Can anyone recommend a little playset for a 3yr old? I was going to get one of the Disney animators collection ones (which were £13 in the Disney store) but apparently they went on sale and are gone, now they are on ebay for double that!
We have playmobil but she still needs supervising in order not to trash that, so I want a little something for her stocking that she can play with herself. The current Disney store offerings don't seem to have much play value to them.

Fuckingfuckssake · 09/11/2020 09:39

Can I ask about the pogo sticks, any good for a 9 year old boy?

WhereTheresAHill · 09/11/2020 09:40

WillSantaBeComingToTown · 09/11/2020 09:46

@FoolShapeHeart

Can anyone recommend a Christmas tree train set for a tabletop tree please? Another branch of my lo's family have a full size one as a big part of their family tradition, but we have a 3'/4' potted tree sat on a table as we don't have much space. I've found the odd miniature one but they have rubbish reviews. I don't have £££ to spend but not interested in tat either!
Do you have a brio set? Just buy the battery operated red train.
pigeonorstatue · 09/11/2020 09:49

Thanks so much for the Disney code!

I expect this could be niche, but the Sassimals Ali Alpaca is down to £12.60... www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B084QYTX5P?linkCode=ogi&psc=1&th=1&language=en_GB&tag=mumsnetforu03-21

@Carriemac I know this isn’t quite what you asked for but for your DNiece, I’d recommend getting her her own set of needles, such as these bamboo ones. They’re great for beginners as they tend to hold the yarn better, and are very light, and if you get the whole set it will mean she almost always always has the correct size without having to buy or borrow.

I started knitting around the same age and would have loved my own set.

You could make it into a nice gift by choosing a few different balls of yarn from an online store such as lovecrafts.
