Much work and travel, and sorting things for other people’s kids as well as my own DD. I took a lunchtime flight yesterday to carve out a couple of quiet evening hours - but a 20 minute snow shower as we boarded turned our 45 minute delay into over 3 hours so that was a complete failure. I’m not due to travel again for a while though, 🤞

Fluffy it could be hormones which may also explain the headaches. It's hard to tell with me (PCOS & endometriosis).

Fingers crossed the trial isn't needed but what a way to throw your work plans off track!

MrsMad I think the nurse woman would have got away with that crash if she hadn't been a nurse so knew the effects.
I was prescribed Tramadol years ago for pain after gallstones then pancreatitis and they really helped.

Opiates are meant to make you not care, aren't they? They're not pain relief in that they stop pain, they just stop you caring about it. In theory. I'm not sure I'm amenable to them!

Flouncy, we rarely pass work to anyone. We have our own cases and work on them til they're done, even if it sends us up the wall somewhat.

We had reconciled but we are now separated to sort out our heads thanks to someone else sticking their nose in

PJ, I feel rough too. Drained and my voice keeps verging on leaving me too. I might have to say no calls today if it doesn't improve.

The wind has dropped a bit today. To 40+mph! We have a couple of days of respite before Dennis arrives at the weekend. We've just been investigating non-motorway routes south as Sunday is meant to be bad now and neither of us feel the need to risk the motorway in those conditions.

And yes, flouncy, we all work differently, so getting somebody else's file is weird!

Fluffy we used to travel on A500/A50 if the M-way traffic was bad or we weren't in a hurry. We have started that as far up as Warrington but generally came off the motorway just before Stoke. A50 takes you to Leicester. It was a great route - particularly when there was a Little Chef at Uttoxeter.

I think that's the way the map was taking us. I'll look on my work computer as it has the bigger screen! #oldeyes

Forgot to post my cross stitch last night. It's coming on!

Ooh, bugger. I know we're avoiding the 'smart' motorway at any cost though. Might look at the A6.
