Flouncy, yes, it could be an age thing, as I'm also a bit sweaty at night in a hormonal way. Isn't it great being female?!

And shed jenga sounds VERY Final Destination indeed!

I'm not very sweaty. But I am more sweaty than normal! I hate it. It doesn't help that I have to be cocooned to sleep. 😂

I need to do a bit of shed jenga. Thankfully there aren't many sharp things which need moving.

We went to the filming of a new series 'Beat the Chaser'-
It's the five chasers pitted against one (non celebrity) contestants .
And the ever lovely Bradley Walsh Grin
Don't know when it'll be televised but I'll be looking out for it

PJMasksGhekko · 01/02/2020 21:59

Hiii, I haven't disappeared, I'm still here, will catch up on the thread soon.

Our dishwasher has died, had it about 8 years, can't complain as Dh done a porch roof for a mate and that was the payment, so it's served us well.

There is a lot going on at the moment as Fluffy will vouch for, so between working, house work and various other things it's a struggle to post and keep up!!

Hope everyone is ok though, right off to catch up xx

NoWordForFluffy · 01/02/2020 22:33

I hope you've ordered a replacement already, PJ. I'd be straight online if ours died! 😂

I was vaguely productive today in that I popped to Sainsbury's and Farmfoods then mowed the lawn when I got back (I noticed how straggly it looked when I was hanging washing out earlier). I've been doing cross stitch since just after 3 though. It's coming on now! At least you're can see what it is now. Xmas Grin

Sounds like a good day, 70!

Morning!

I had better sleep last night. Hurrah!

I'm off to the allotment soon. I think I'm going to limit it to 3 hours today. Maybe!

I've decided that it's time to train the kids to get up without our assistance. They're definitely old enough now.

Morning, we won't be ordering a new one, we just can't afford it, we've just had to replace our hoover that also broke a couple of weeks ago, I shall miss having one though.

Our back garden is a mess thanks to the dog, we will be needing grass seeds Angry

CrazyBaubles · 02/02/2020 11:05

PJ we bought our dishwasher off gumtree (£40)! It was a bargain which we needed as our last one died literally a few days after we bought a car and had no money spare. It's definitely worth looking there or eBay.

Thank you for the cross stitch help flouncy I haven't added any more stitches - I don't want to waste my time if I'm going to have to abandon it.
I've zoomed in - what do you think? If I finish it do you think the little white bits won't be noticeable?

Fluffy definitely take it easy at the allotment today.

I have a nice day planned. I've had my lie in and done my housework. Treated myself to a bacon and egg roll for breakfast. Now getting ready to go to FILs for a dog walk then lunch. Crafting this afternoon Xmas Smile

CrazyBaubles · 02/02/2020 11:08

Forgot the pic Blush

We keep my Very account open for the purpose of white good disasters!

Crazy, sounds like you've a lovely day planned.

Flouncy, it's taken ages to get the church looking like one! I think it'll come one more quickly when it's sky etc as there's bigger chunks of colour I can whizz through.

I'm on the way home now. I'm tired! Lots of digging done and muck spread!

Lot's of work done Fluffy.

We are going to wait, we will get a new one, once we've bought our house the 1st room we are doing is the kitchen, I can't wait as I hate it at the moment.

3rd load of washing in and discovered today that Dd1 started her period last week and didn't tell me, I think she's relieved I know though, she got upset and said she doesn't like talking about things like that, which she doesn't, I'm sooo glad I had already got her pads in and she dealt with it very maturely and just got on with it, at least I know now, bless her.

NoWordForFluffy · 02/02/2020 13:41

Oh, bless her, PJ. It's good that you were prepared for it happening.

I wouldn't want to be without our dishwasher, to be honest. I love it almost more than DH! 😂😂

I may have eaten my lunch in the bath! 😂😂 I soaked for bloody ages.

The edges were the worst bit on mine too, it has to be said. The grass half-filled the waste container and we only have a little lawn which shows that it was quite long.

I have many a few mistakes in mine too, flouncy. And you're right that it's only the person who made them who knows they're there!

Morning!

It's been rather windy overnight! It's dropping a bit now, but it's still windy, just not 40mph+.

The washing is out, anyway, so will be dry shortly! 😂😂

Mrs, I'm glad your mum had a good time. I hope you slept well after all of your efforts.

Weirdly, considering I didn't tell my mum anything, I did tell her I'd started my period (conveniently on a Saturday morning!). She told me to go back to bed if I was achey, which I was. Then bollocked me later for spending too long in bed. Sigh. Story of my life. 🤷‍♀️

Mrs, I have to take my glasses off to cross stitch as I can't see clearly with them on.

why have a good first day at work. Enjoy the traffic chaos in town. My trip to the station was fine apart from having to negotiate the bin lorry but the temporary traffic lights were up and running on the way back. 2 sets on the same road 🤦🏻‍♀️

It was so much lighter this morning. For the last two weeks I am usually sitting in my car watching the station car park lights switching off like Dumbledore is standing there with his deluminator.

Fluffy I take my glasses off to crochet/knit/sew/read. It drives DH mad but I wear varifocals and the optician has said that no pair of glasses would ever be as good as my eyes, so if I feel my eyes would do the job best then I should take my glasses off.
