Fluffy! ShockFlowers DD strained a knee ligament last summer, and that was bad enough, I can't imagine the pain you've been in!

Heavy get well wishes to your DM. Flowers

I've bought myself a colour-changing suction snowflake, I buy one decoration a year, I'm having a ham and cheese omelette and a banana today. 🎅🎄❄😋🍌

Seafoodeatit · 02/11/2018 11:01

Good morning everyone! We've been away for a week and it feels like there's been hundreds of posts!

Philomena I do the same with decorations, I love those window lights :)

fluffy ouch that sounds really painful, hopefully now they know what it is they can treat it more effectively.

Heavy I'm so sorry to hear she is so poorly, make sure that you're taking care of yourself too in-between it all. Flowers

Redgreencoverplant · 02/11/2018 11:24

This just arrived through my door so have stuck Cbeebies on while I enjoy :)

Fluffy I might sign up - I visit the site often enough. How lucky of your DH.

Now they know what wrong with your shoulder, is there a plan for treatment? It sounds so painful.

I feel a little better today thank you. I just have the 'hangover' feeling and I'm very tired. I have a full work day to do on 5 broken hours of sleep. I can't wait to go home already.

PSB can you post a pic of your decoration?

Redgreen I have the Range on my hit-list for this weekend, along with Aldi for Christmas bedding. DH is away hiking and camping (crazy as it's so cold) so I'm on my own from tomorrow for 48 hours).

HairsprayBabe · 02/11/2018 11:41

Morning
I have wrapped LOADS of pressies this week

and I have a wiklow on my finger and I don't know how to get rid and it really hurts :(

NoWordForFluffy · 02/11/2018 12:05

Hairspray, soak in warm salt water for a bit. Should help.

Crazy, I hate that 'hangover' feeling after a migraine. It's grim.

The physio is ringing me in 4 weeks to discuss options. I think I'm probably best seeing the GP once my results are back and being referred to a specialist.

PhilomenaButterfly · 02/11/2018 12:44

I've just had 4 spelt and fig flatbreads with spicy feta spread and 2 lebkuchen stars, that's probably enough! It must be colder, I'm hungry straight after an omelette!

DD's got her maths booster today. 📒

NoWordForFluffy · 02/11/2018 13:11

We bought lebkuchen hearts from Aldi today. They are lovely. 😁❤️

My shoulder hurts where he pressed hard on it during the U/S scan. And he had me moving it all over, and some movements really hurt.

My mum said that it could be worse! Well, maybe, but it's my dominant arm and hurts / restricts me, so it's quite bad. 🙈

I'm off to an interview at my old firm (the one I went to Glasgow for). Fingers crossed I get one of the roles I'm going for.

Oh, I made DH help me sort the dining room out today. It was full of 'artwork' from the kids and toys / general crap was everywhere.

We've cleared all the plastic shit from Kinder eggs, magazines etc and DH will drop these at the tip as there's a hard plastics recycling area. A load of the art and other cardboard crap went into the recycling and some stuff needed binning. It looks loads better now and less of a dumping ground.

We are going to tackle the understairs cupboard next Friday. We know how to live! 😂😂

OP posts:
PhilomenaButterfly · 02/11/2018 14:51

All that crap lives in the DC's room. Every couple of months DH chucks it all out.

Redgreencoverplant · 02/11/2018 14:55

Welcome Frangelico :)

Good luck fluffy!

The Christmas trees have gone up in our town already which was a bit of a shock as it is usually around my birthday. DS loves them.

Perfect timing for Lakeland vouchers Fluffy!
I hope you enjoyed Ypres woolly.
DH and I went to Lille last weekend. It was a lovely city and hosts a Christmas market in December- which I imagine would have a great festive atmosphere. Because DH and I tend to do city breaks at half term, I always just miss the markets.
Thank you for the tip about Matalan matching Christmas pjs MrsMad. I was about to order some, when I thought to check my January sales purchases and found some leggings I had picked up in M&S at a v good price.
Also this week, I decided to clear out the hall cupboard and found the box of chocolates I had bought for DD's stocking last December and 'just popped out of sight'
In the interests of consumer research I can confirm that Hotel chocolat products keep really well. Leaves thread to continue stuffing self with out of date chocolates

AceyMac13 · 02/11/2018 15:16

Hi all!
Sorry I haven’t been on. I have had the chest infection from hell, sent from the devil himself! It absolutely floored me for 2 weeks, couldn’t even get out of bed. I’m still wheezing and coughing, but I can actually go to work with minimal issues so all is good!

I have my 20 week scan next week, can’t wait to see my wee princess again!

Can’t believe it’s christmas next month, I’m so excited!

I will catch up when I finish work, I just wanted to quickly check in.

I hope everyone is well!

Redgreencoverplant · 02/11/2018 15:16

I assume they were still sealed constantly? I was very disappointed once to reopen an unfinished box of hotel chocolat a few weeks after starting them and they were all white Sad

CrazyBaubles · 02/11/2018 16:01

Hairspray I had to google what a wiklow was! I think soaking it sounds like a good plan though.

Welcome Frangelico it's never too late to join

PSB that light is lovely 😊

Good luck Fluffy 🤞🍀

Redgreen I recognise that tree! I walked passed it earlier actually.

Constantly I'm having selective sight on this thread as I'm pretty sure I need to do some research of my own on the exact same chocolate subject

So nice to have you back Acey How are things (except the infection obviously)!

PhilomenaButterfly · 02/11/2018 16:07

I do like it Crazy! 😆

PhilomenaButterfly · 02/11/2018 16:10

Your DS is very cute Redgreen. 😆

Hope you're okay Acey, and the wee princess. Are you allowed antibiotics?
