Sorry your dad is unwell, Acey. How old is he? I hope he recovers quickly.

He’s 67. He has had COPD for a few years due to smoking, however it seems like he may have caught my chest infection on top of that :(

Oh no. It's so debilitating as an illness, isn't it?

I really hope the hospital can stabilise him.

We are en route to the hospital now in the ambulance :(

Acey How frightening for you all, he'll be well looked after hospital I hope he stabilizes soon.

He seems a lot better since being on the nebuliser, hopefully they can stabilise him :(

Sometimes a bit of help increasing their SATS is all that's needed. The body really is very clever.

They kicked me out because it’s not visiting hours apparently gah!
He’s in a lot better spirits and says he feels much safer being in hospital.
Got to go to his house and get him some clothes and things.

Ah, that's positive for him. Annoying to be kicked out, but at least you can spend the time being useful before going back.

Second batch of mince pies made. Some for the freezer and some for the babysitting inlaws later!

I finished last year's mincemeat in making them. 😁

There’s been no change really, he’s had chest X-rays and numerous blood tests. They’ve also put him on water tablets to try and bring down the swelling in his feet.
Am at home again now with a cupcake feeling sorry for myself!
Still haven’t felt my wee princess kick, stupid anterior placenta!

We’ve put on some Christmas films this afternoon and DH has just come back from the shops with some cake for us all

Had chicken, ham hock, leek and tarragon pie for lunch, chicken madras for supper. 😋🍗🍛

DS2 will go to bed at 5.25. 😴

They will have icing sugar on to serve, but you can't freeze them with it on!
