I only did for DS2 because he was DH's first and he wanted to know. I'll never forget the sonographer when I asked her if she was sure: "There's a definite scrotum!" 😂

NoWordForFluffy · 29/09/2018 14:58

The didn't want to know parent trumped for us. I'd have found out for DS, but DH didn't want to, so we didn't. I'm glad we didn't now.

Afternoon all Smile
Went up the Parents after doing their shopio, just getting their bedrooms straight after seeing to the pair of them & I spy with my little eye , my DF Inadine dressing on his bedroom floor Hmm. Quite how it was there when l had just got him dressed tidy bullied into washing his face and changing his bloodied shirt l do not know because upon double checking his dressing it looked intact !! Shock So took the dressing off and it was the Inadine!! Xmas Grin I do not know how he did that ! Anyway I put a new one on and it is looking fine thank God. Mum was exhausted yesterday and My Dsis said she was worried about her but she seemed much more herself today , l think it was all the hand holding with Mary's FLIRTY HUSBAND AT DANCE GOSSIP CLUB MYSELF!
Fluffy glad you are home safe & sound and had a great time!
Acey... those gender reveal scratch cards are brilliant!! We didn't find out on our 2 but it was many moons ago and Gender scans were not done then...... I would prob have had them done though if they had been about then. They were just not usual then , l am talking about 25 yrs ago so Xmas Grinfound this on a site too .....
'The hormones can cause the membranes in your nose to become irritated and swell and create more mucous. That's what causes the itching, sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes.'
I read somewhere pregnancy can give you the symptoms you have Flowers
PSB are the Pukka pies the ones you can microwave from frozen and if so, what are they like m'dear? Am thinking about getting DF a pie to do for himself when he fancies one. He likes a pie now and again .
Did the parents grilled smoked back bacon , new pots, broccoli & carrots for lunch with mint sauce, they have smoked mackerel salad for tea, profiteroles & fruit salad for afters.
Constant l can't knit for toffee Xmas Grin . I am so lucky to have DH to help me or l would be drowning in caring for the Dparents. l don't begrudge it at all, just saying it how it is, l don't think l could cope without DH helping me bless him.
Better shift & get the washing in, it has been beautiful here again today , hard to believe it is nearly October!!
Have a lovely evening everyone Smile

PhilomenaButterfly · 29/09/2018 16:44

Mrs no, you do these in the oven. I must look for microwaveable frozen ones! I've never had them, but the DC and DH like them (the oven ones).

Mrsmadevans · 29/09/2018 17:06

PhilomenaButterfly · 29/09/2018 19:07

It was Mrs!

Mrsmadevans · 29/09/2018 19:09

DH cooked us broccoli, his pots from the garden, carrots & a beef wellington from Aldi and it was alright, l won't buy one again , the beef was fine and the pastry was lovely but the pate stuff they put around the beef is not very nice at all. Never mind, it was a dry run for Christmas day lunch thought we would try something different for a change but after that we are sticking with Turkey for defo! Xmas Grin

FurForksSake · 29/09/2018 19:10

Evening! Strictly is on, I've been doing some furniture arranging so a nice treat to sit. I've moved a sideboard and DH came home and instantly new it was early prep for the Christmas tree! It'll be going the opposite end of the room this year. I've also uncovered the radiator so the room will be a bit warmer.

We've been putting the garden to bed, tomorrow we are digging out the front bed and putting down chippings as it just grows weeds endlessly.

PhilomenaButterfly · 29/09/2018 19:12

. Not that we have an Aldi near us. All we have is Sainsbury's and a Tesco Express.

Mrsmadevans · 29/09/2018 19:15

Well done Fur your DH is like mine they know when the time is a coming Xmas Grin
Must do a bit of furniture arranging too l think it refreshes the room .....
Note to self ....NO that is when you actually clean the room Mrs!!! Xmas Grin

Mrsmadevans · 29/09/2018 19:16
