My DPs, on a trip through Europe a couple of years ago, bought each of their DCs a German Christmas carosel, and at least 2 had that name on the box. They're all gorgeous (and they managed to get a different one for each of us!). So, sooooo jealous of Fluffy....
I'm powering through "to do" lists at work - loads of little jobs that need doing. Meeting DM for dinner tonight, last boating session in the morning with Cubs, helping older scouts to take boats off the sea and then I have to give a separate 1st aid training session for the other scouts (we have 2 groups), before going home to cook a BBQ for leaders (oh, I was just sooo great in my diary planning there) - and I have to do beachmaster all day on Sunday for the start of the new season as the outgoing class captain is away (I didn't have a choice to say no even though I'd already booked the bbq in). DH is coming with me on Sunday though, and he's done it loads (I've done it, um, maybe twice?!). So by Monday, I will be a puddle on the floor (already nearly that as I slept really horribly badly all week).
I did get some knitting done last night while waiting for DD outside scouts. And I have a couple of parcels to collect from the parcel motel tomorrow morning (no chance tonight) - 1 is extra embroidery thread for Cubs making their Christmas stockings (a seasonal "learn to sew" session) and the other, I think, is my Christmas cushion cover for the living room.
At least the household is starting to get back on a more even keel, even if the seasonal preps are not!
