Crazy I'm sure she is old enough to understand, I expect she was just very upset and angry that her grandfather is gone and is taking it out on other people I remember when I was ten our next door neighbour (Uncle Tom 😍) died. I loved him so, so much he was like a grandad to me. I sobbed at his funeral.

I know Wreck and I don't blame her at all it just took me by surprise.

Just a tip, if you're ever feeling down and want to cheer yourself up with something festive, DO NOT go on YouTube and watch old Christmas adverts. You will end up crying a lot. I stumbled onto the Boots one where the family surprise the mum with a Christmas when she gets home from her shift and started tearing up and it just snowballed from there Feel better now though

AHH Thank you all so so much , Dad is fine Thank God , have been up this evening and changed his band aid, put some Savlon on as well , he is fine , left him watching poor Johnny Kingdoms series on BBC 4. .

Thank you all for your well wishes, you’re very right, we’re extremely fortunate to be able to move so quickly. DM and DGM are lending us some money so everything can be done as soon as possible, I don’t have any siblings on my DMs side so it’s only really me who can look after them. We live down south at the minute and will me moving up north so will be a big change!. We’re viewing a house over the weekend and our house should be on the market soon enough. I’ve mentioned to a neighbor that we’re selling and they’re interested in it to turn into a holiday home!.

Hi! The DC are at Adventure, I've just had a pulled pork burrito for supper.

They've put in their applications for after school clubs, DS2 wants basketball, DD wants brass (trumpet etc).

Picked DS2 up, he played tug of war with DD when she got back at around 7. DS2 will go to bed at 8, DD will go at 8.30. 😴

My teenage DS has just started guitar lessons (he looks sooo gorgeous with his guitar case slung over his shoulder )

I reckon this thread will maybe last the month and we'll need a new one by October

I am on my feet almost all day in my new job and it is taking it out of me. Really enjoying it though :)

So excited that it is almost October as then we can say that Christmas is the month after next! Also all the food catalogues etc get released 😁

Crazy ....Monmouth is lovely, we went up the Kymin and picked chestnuts and walked in the grounds the views are to die for !
Bought a second hand trivial pursuit and played it for 2 hrs after we came home....DH won !!

Morning! Looks lovely so far Fluffy! I'm nearly blind in one eye, so none of that for me I'm afraid. The other night I got something in my right eye, so was trying to read with my left eye, it didn't matter what distance I held my phone at, it was just a blur.

Drinking coffee, watching BBC breakfast news and Carol the Weather.

Not much to it really though, is there?! 😂 I always start with a big chunk of colour so I don't have to keep re-threading the needle. 😁

Interview day today. Just the morning at work to get through!

DD could probably start doing stuff like that. One of the clubs she wanted to do (unfortunately on the same day) was chat and stitch.

You can get nice little ones as starter projects. I've only done 4 in my life, but they're all fairly big / intricate as they were birth date ones. I did Winnie the Pooh and Beatrix Potter one's for my niece and nephew in '98 and '00 and then ones for my DC in '13 and '14.

I've no idea what's got into me to start it up again, especially given my increasingly dodgy eyesight (I think varifocals will be on the cards next time I go!).
