A Christmas wedding is always lovely

Had a mad day in work then came home and did a load of housework as I was feeling so energised and motivated.

Finally starting to feel on top of things so I'm looking for something to make my niece for her upcoming 1st birthday (not sure if anyone remembers her being born, she was very very early and is now like a little miracle, catching up slowly and gurgling her pretend words at me while trying to pull my glasses off my face whenever I see her) 😊

It's our 6th wedding anniversary this year too. Funnily enough, after lots of our friends being engaged for a while, loads of us booked the dates suddenly so we ended up with a wedding to go to every few weeks for about 5 months in 2012. It was a very popular year here! 👰🏼

Love your wedding dress Fluffy never seen one like that before. I think it looks a bit medieval . I been looking at his wedding dresses and they are beautiful l found yours in blue and that was beautiful too. l am not a stalker just love weddings and flowers

Thread 6 🙀. Fluffy - that dress is gorgeous. I have been slightly MIA due to heart scare and dental issues. Hopefully under control but time will tell. Still ploughing on with Xmas prep and there’s at least one package arriving every day currently. Xx

Fell off the thread again. Feeding ds 5m at 3am which he seems to think is playtime. One present purchased so far but Christmas tin savings kept up religiously so far
He’s just starting to have a taste of a few purées so very excited to see what he’d do with a mince pie .

Morning! Up and ready for McDonald's! Will get DD up at 6.15, DS2 at 6.30. Drinking coffee, watching BBC world news.

Thank you, Mrs! That was pre-kids though (I'm almost 4 weeks' pregnant in those photos 😱😂). My figure isn't quite the same even though I weigh slightly less now!

I loved the colour of the dress. It suited me better than an all-pale one due to my colouring! The blue one is lovely too, isn't it?

BBTHREE, I hope you're recovering well. I bet it's been stressful for you.

Just got on my - boiling hot - train. The joy!

Back to school here today. Ds is so nervous poor thing. Just bought dd the tinc advent calendar. Am so pleased with my bargain spotting I have added it to the bargain thread.

In McDonald's, DS2's having a bacon roll meal, DD's having a bacon roll, I'm having a cheesy bacon flatbread meal. 😋

18th-20th usually work xmas do
21st or 22nd my own Christmas party
23rd uncles birthday and panto
24th Christmas eve
25th Christmas
26th Boxing day
27th-29th granddads birthday - usually a hotel stay in rutland
30th sales shopping with mum and aunt
31st NYE
1st NYD

not sure where a wedding would fit in!

Plus, aside from Christmas October is my favourite month, it is the month my sister and brother were born and I have lots of memories of me and my mum on maternity doing lovely autumn things in October. I want something a bit outdoorsy and any later than the end of October seems like a bit of a risk!

Morning all! It’s finally over. Arthur settled in really well and after I helped him put his coat and bag on the peg he ran off to his friends and didn’t look back at me. Just counting down the hours until I can get him now.

Love the photo hairspray!! Gorgeous ring. I love October too, we are going to Kielder for halfterm, it will be my 36th birthday while we are there.

I went into iceland today, they had some of the christmas chocolates out. I bought celebrations, £3.99 for the tub, very exciting.

It seems a little foggy by me. Very chilly as well. It’s lovely and autumnal.

Making a lasagne for lunch. 😋

I've just stuck a chicken in the slow cooker for dinner. Not my fave way of doing it, but low effort!
