I've started to look at the Christmas 18 toy lists dd will be 4 this year what stocking filler type toys do you think will be hard to get (you know fingerling hard to get)

This year I think it'll be

Polly pockets
Posie friends
Scruff a luv

Any ideas

The price of that lol stuff is ridiculous. And they have lots of stuff being released, I feel sorry for the parents whose children are into them!

Thats a hefty price tag for something that you can't see what you get!!!! (Lol surprise)

I’m so glad my dd’s are over the LOL stage. What with the dolls house (£184.99) this surprise and the other new LOL surprises (£14.99) and then that’s before you even buy a ‘normal’ LOL surprise. I have seen that an advent calendar is coming out too, you can only order it from the US at the moment and it’s $89.99, again you can’t see what’s in it either.

Please can you add approx ages when you say which toys your own kids like as I’m never quite sure if things are for older or younger kids. Thank you.

These arrived today. Both daughters want both toys so not sure which I will give to which x

Dd2 I have bought the pomsies Luna and a rainbocorn.
Both will be getting the shopkins lil secrets - a doll and playset.

Hi, if anyone wants the LOL dolls house it is now on pre-order at Very for £179.99 plus £3.95 delivery. Snapped one up for DD6, will be her only present apart from a stocking but I know she will adore it. And nice to have the presents sorted for her!

I saw on a Smyths post on Facebook that they are taking pre-orders but some people that pre-ordered have not received them. They have now been told they will receive them before Christmas. Fingers crossed for those that want to get them that you actually do.

I pre-ordered a lol house in August but wasn’t expecting to receive it until at least October; pretty sure it says they will be available on a first come first served basis throughout Oct-Dec.

Do you get any dolls with the house?

You get a lol doll, lil sister and a pet.

@louise5754 could you wrap them together with a label saying for both of them to share (from you or father Christmas) maybe put one on on top of the other, tape the paper over it but not at sides, then lots of excess paper either side and sort of tied loosely by the boxes so it looks like a big cracker and to open it they both have to each pull a side

All I saw on the thread on Facebook was 3/4 people that were asking Smyths what had happened to theirs, some customers have already receivedone, and one had put quite a few pictures up of her daughters and what was in it etc - her daughters wasn’t for Christmas. One of them said she had just been given a revision of you will get it before Christmas as opposed to a new date. It should still be on Facebook.

Following this thread with interest. I preordered those poopsie unicorn things for my DDs a good while ago, had a feeling they’d be popular. I’ve also preordered an LOL bigger surprise. Bloody hate paying so much but my girls are most definitely going to want one - they can share one though. No way I am paying £85 twice!

@TellMeItsNotTrue I'm not getting then anything LOL related for Christmas. Sorry I was just curious. I got DD6 the £30 one in May and she's not interested. She's asked for the house. No chance lol.

I’ve contacted Smyths to clarify, because my email confirmation actually says availability from 3-10 September - I haven’t had a cancellation so hopefully it is going to be available soon!

@louise5754 I meant the 2 polly pocket toys, you said you weren't sure which to give to which DD because they both wanted both

Any ideas for ds(4) ?? I am getting him a dinosaur fingerling as he asked after seeing it on tv but other than that i have no idea what else might be a popular for his age group this year

@TellMeItsNotTrue haha good idea I could wrap them and get them to choose. I've suggested sharing but they argue over the slightest thing 😩😞 my youngest wants the small cry baby. Is it worth the £10?

Dino fingerlings. But get the raptor. Not only do they look much cooler, but the T Rex they are now releasing has a misshapen head like a boulder and looks really rubbish. They are trying to hype up the T Rex, but I can see it as the raptor being the one that the kids want.
