Mn predictions for hard to get toys Christmas 18

Hiya

I've started to look at the Christmas 18 toy lists dd will be 4 this year what stocking filler type toys do you think will be hard to get (you know fingerling hard to get) Grin

This year I think it'll be

Polly pockets
Posie friends
Scruff a luv

Any ideas

Just looked up a Rainbocorns as didn’t know what they were. I think,they may become popular also, but they seem overpriced to me (and ugly!).

Just picked up a Poopsie Unicorn Slime Surprise I think they will be so hard to get nearer to Christmas. Had a look at the polly pocket sets but prefer the mini shopkins ones.

I’m so glad I saw this dd2 only wants a Scruff a Luv for Christmas. After reading the thread I thought I’d better get one now if they are going to be popular and couldn’t find one in stock anywhere! I have now ordered one from amazon who have said it will be here by 1st November Shock but have stock updates for various shops so may cancel my amazon order and buy elsewhere to make sure I have it in my hand!

I’m sorry to say we had a scruff a luv and I chucked it in the bin. I should have photographed it first. It was dreadful. We washed it and brushed it and washed it again and it looked like road kill. Honestly it was dreadful, nothing like the advert / photos. It was a reward for my daughter and she was horrified by it!

I reckon the Harry Potter Lego will be hard to find once the new Fantastic Beasts film comes out in November. I've already got DDs because I know it would be a disaster if I couldn't get hold of it, she's a HP nut!

I've a feeling that the dinosaur fingerlings may sell out nearer December. I might have to get x2 as I don't want a repeat of last years fingerlings drama!

I had a feeling that they would be rubbish WaitingForSunday17 but no matter how I try and talk her out of it that is all she wants Father Christmas to bring her.

I do all my shopping online as I have health issues hence the me not being able to find a Scruff a Luv in stock, I guess the closer it gets to Christmas the shops both online and physical will have less and less - like every other year with the popular toys. The Scruff a Luvs are already being sold for more than the RRP on ebay so it has begun already.

Who knew a scruff a luv would become valuable and hard to find?! Some reviews are good so maybe it’s just us... it was bedraggled though!

I have two girls, the eldest loves Lego, Harry Potter and dinosaurs. The youngest is every girl cliche walking! The LOL craze seems to be over in my house thank goodness, I wouldn’t have bought the house for her, the price of the dolls alone is expensive.

I did consider getting dd1 the HP Lego but she chose another set that she’s had her eye on for a while. Her birthday is 3 days after Christmas so I am looking for stuff for that too.

I’m hopping the Scruff a Luv will be the only thing that I need to track down. This is the first time ever that either has asked for a ‘must have’ toy.
