OK, nothing got done last night as I had to go to the final meeting of the year for the other Cub pack in our Group. It was nice, if intimidating (as to how much they do and how little we do!).
This morning, I have done other admin jobs (ordering my parking permit for Q1, arranging a new script for DD, organizing a shopping list for DH (is there anything seasonal in Sainsbury's that I really should add to my list before I hit "send"? We won't get there again until late February!)). And Sorted admin for work things - approving leave requests and travel refunds and getting end of year jobs done.
I'm heading out to the postbox now with 1 letter - my intention is to check my cards tonight and try to get the first batch off tomorrow. The parcel to Canada went successfully - even if I had to re-do it in the post office itself (my box was too big so "parcel" not a "packet", a difference of over €40 on postage!!! I spent the €2.50 on the plastic envelope that took everything instead and postage was (still!) €18.50). At least it's a post office that I go to on an infrequent but regular enough basis so they recognize me and made the suggestion. I also have to get everything from the boot of my car smuggled in home sometime tonight - it's kinda full (it's only a Mini though) and I can't let either DH or DD see them.
My desk is, um, not so big really as I couldn't fit my knees under it the past couple of weeks, but I can mostly sit sideways on at the computer when I need to! 
If I really wanted a sleep under it, I would have to curl up quite a lot.......
