We were out shopping today (DH and I have a Traditional day off work every year to shop) it was mad-busy.

There was a lot of swearing involved but it's up! Still have another one to do tomorrow plus room decorations

DF cataract should be going ahead next Tuesday , Weds is taking DM to hairdressers and giving their house a good cleaning, Thursday taking the DP to see Miss Saigon, I so hope my DF will be ok to see the performance bless him.

I've had Heart Christmas going in the car for a week or so. Yesterday was the first time DH had been in the car with me since "switch on". I got the face

I have to say I love a bit of Mickey Bubbles at Christmas. I've downloaded the Annie Lennox Christmas album tonight so I can belt out a few carols.

MrsMad I hope your DF's cataract op goes ok.* One of my former colleagues had one done a few years ago and recovered very quickly. He was back in work the day after (office job) and was delighted that he had a corrective lens put in so didn't need his glasses anymore.*

Driving around last night, quite a lot of houses near us have lights up so DS and I might take a walk after tea for a better look!

DBIL was laughing at me yesterday when he realised I have a 'to do' list on my phone, then he saw everything that was on it... And then he forgot the one thing he was supposed to do yesterday. So, my list is vindicated

We're off to Longleat today to see the lights and Father Christmas

Getting very festive now. Put all the christmas bedding on yesterday and today is tree and decoration day. Started wearing my festive attire yesterday much to the 16 year olds disgust and she insisted on walking ten paces behind me when we went to cinema after school to watch Daddy's Home 2!

I am feeling very festive today even if I did have to work for a few hours this morning.
I've opened a Salvation Army cd that I bought last year and it's lovely, carols played by a brass band

Everyone in work was excited - lots of Christmas music floating around and the office was being decorated. Am hoping to convince DH to get the decs down tomorrow so I can 'check them' and put some lights and ornaments out 🎄🎄

I have been in bed with a D&V virus so haven't managed to put up the advent decorations or get out the Christmas crockery. On the positive side I am enjoying try advent calendar 🎄🎁🎄
