We've not got advent calendars this year. I'm trying to diet, DH isn't bothered and DS isn't old enough to understand and I'm not paying £20 for a toy one so I'm preserving his teeth for this year .

The snow has laid, about 1cm as we're quite rural. It's forecast to warm up again tonight, so hopefully no icy patches overnight! It's been the best snowfall for at least the last 2.5 years (since DS has been born).

My DS loved the advent calendar last year (he was 2.4 at the beginning of December).

This year he's just so excited about the whole shebang. It's very sweet!

Not sure if mentioned but any My little Pony fans- Tesco have a pack of 6 full size ponies from the film for £30. Amazon has it for £66.

I've had my traditional Christmas music phone call - df won this year by calling at 5:58 (knowing I would wait until exactly 6am) All good fun anyway, so today I am wearing Christmas earrings and socks to celebrate December finally arriving!

I might wear my new Christmas leggings tomorrow. They're quite short for those of us who are long of leg. And very silky material, eh Fridge?!

I went a bit crazy two years ago firefly and didnt really factor in the spread of the tree so now we have to rearrange the whole room every year and do without a coffee table

Mine are 2 and 4 and ripped it down continually. I need to get it out and see how they do this year. I love your collection, lovely stuff and I have lots of those too :)
