Cupoteap · 04/10/2017 19:38

👋🏻 evening all

feltcarrot · 04/10/2017 19:39

Can I just ask those of you who have bought Bilibos what age your DC are? I'm thinking of getting one for my 6 yo niece, would her 9yo old sister be too old? TIA

TellMeItsNotTrue · 04/10/2017 19:50

YellowHat Thankyou

macnab Thankyou, I will keep an eye on that and my fingers crossed

NotPennysBoat · 04/10/2017 19:56

@IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece you may have to wait a certain amount of time, but you will need to report to each retailer as non-delivered, then they will make a claim with RM or courier or whoever. I’d advise you travel through your emails or bank/credit card/PayPal statements to see where they might have come from. And if you see Postie tomorrow, shout egg him!

stiddlebomb cosmetics came up on lightening deals quite often last year and they do some lovely festive gift sets. there is quite a few on the very 3 for 2 as well.

Has the Light box code expired?

Methenyouplus4 · 04/10/2017 20:13

Another person eager to find a well priced playmobil school/pool/park etc.

I bought the magna type tiles posted previously, not had a chance to have a proper look yet as kids were around but came in nice plastic tub and could see wheels in there.

Betsy86 · 04/10/2017 20:13

Damn it stupid tesco!!!!

SingaporeSlinky · 04/10/2017 20:14

sockeatingmonster thank you for the Ikea doll furniture idea for Barbie, didn't realise they had those Flowers

cookiefiend · 04/10/2017 20:15

TK maxx now have a great stationary section. Last week I saw a math kidson Christmas planning binder which looked lovely for £5.99. I do mine on a spreadsheet so no use to me really, but worth a look if you are there.

NotPennysBoat · 04/10/2017 20:18

@Methenyouplus4 can you link to the magnetic tiles please (& report back on what they’re like when you can have a proper look)?

drspouse · 04/10/2017 20:18

I don't wrap till Christmas Eve.
Still after: Foodie presents
Books for a not very good 11 yo reader (though something more challenging her dad can read to het is OK, I often go for activity books for her)
Discounts on really decent remote control car for DS. But he's only 5 so not too advanced.

Bunkai · 04/10/2017 20:27

The chocolate advent calendars are bargainous at Tesco. £2 for the Cadburys or Mars Bar, £1.50 for milky bar one.

Is the retro dairy milk MNers are talking about the actual frickin' amazing Dairy Milk i.e. not the horror it turned into?

Polkadot1974 · 04/10/2017 20:29

Placemarking. Second Lush for bath stuff

strawberrypenguin · 04/10/2017 20:34

This has probably already been said but anyone looking for Furby’s The Entertainer have them at £49.99 online at the moment. Have other cyber pet things too. I picked up a Zoomer Zuppie for £12

RJnomore1 · 04/10/2017 20:40

Hello!

MooPointCowsOpinion · 04/10/2017 20:41

Just got an email for 25% off at Smyths toys, but it's not on all products, certainly not the LOL big surprise, which is out of stock.
My DD wants one, but I think they're a rip off, so I'm desperate to get it in a sale so I feel less robbed!

luckiestgirl · 04/10/2017 20:45

NotPennysBoat

These are the magnetic tiles from Amazon. I bought them for £30 but they're up to £35 now, but still a good price I think

I'm pretty pleased with them. They're not as sturdy as I thought, so my two year old would struggle, but my 3 year old will love them.

Comes with wheels to make a vehicle, loads of letter and number inserts to play around with making words, and the Ferris wheel stuff (but they'll have to grow into that - looks tricky). And all comes in a nice clip on lid tub.

I have spent over a hour looking through the m&s food. I want the monkfish!!

EmGee · 04/10/2017 20:48

Re bilibo seats - I was at a friend's today and she had a bilibo type seat from Decathlon - it was definitely for older kids and looked very robust. I cannot find anything on their website though!!

peachy94 · 04/10/2017 21:03

Ah ffs has the Argos 3for2 finished 😩 Do they normally do another?

FoofFighter · 04/10/2017 21:12

@christmasunicorn but how can you store them in the loft? a spider might rub it's willy on them!! Shock

singadream · 04/10/2017 21:12

Foodie for what age @drspouse?

Dh loved meat tenderiser I got him one year.
I also got knife sharpener for stocking one year and also brilliant metal thing you wash your hands with after touching garlic and it magically takes the smell away. That was a good stocking filler.
And as a big present I got an electronic ham slicer which was well received, with a posh chunk of jamon.
