The phone on my camera is working again!

Here is this year's.

We have shut the dividing doors to fit it in so the front room becomes very 'cosy' at this time of year [sfsmile]

I will try but my camera isn't very good.

Also...I don't think I put enough on. I will be putting an extra set on next year.

But yes, I will have a go because you are being so nice about my tree Xmas Grin

Monkey are your lights the sort that are on a net? Do you just drape the whole thing over the top? I love big real trees but I always struggle to find enough lights. I want what you've got. Grin

It's also a lovely symmetrical and bushy tree. What sort is it?

lol at Liberace / Elton John. No, but the piano was a present from Father Xmas three years ago to a then 7, now 10 yr old DD. She luffs the new piano stool colour. Yes, it is a library/ music/ study room. The boxes are accounts etc waiting to go into storage...

I am so disappointed. I thought they were going to be boxes of fabulous designer shoes. Xmas Sad

@magicchicken Nope, lights are on a normal string. 85 bloody metres long.

It's a nordmann fir tree. It looks deceptively bushy. It's now looking decidedly ropey as I keep my house a constant 24 degrees. Only a few days left, Eek!

This thread has been awesome

Mentioned upthread that DS, who was i.c. buying our tree, despite having been told 9 ft max, totally forgot, and according to DGD asked for a 16 foot one. Fortunately there were none available but he came home with one nearly 13 feet tall.
After major surgery, both to the bottom and the top,, reducing it by well over a metre we managed to get it into the room, where it broods menacingly, (like the one in Green Knowe say DGCs).

Posting so I remember to take a pic and upload tonight.

Also expressing disappointment that on the first few pages DearMrDilkington and JustCallMeKate thought they might have lived in the same house and I'm devastated that I read the whole thing with no resolution!! Xmas Sad
