Mine, complete with ds pointing to everything and making me name it. First year we've had a fake one. Normally we get a real one but I just could not be arsed with the faff this year!

EnidButton We buy ours from the market so it's bog standard, but it always seems to last. It doesn't smell very 'real' so I think they might actually spray it with something to keep it alive a bit longer. One year we never got around the recycling it and it was still living on the balcony in February

Enid mines real and I always put it up at this time and it stays fresh all the way through.

Buy a decent tree then saw a couple of inches off the bottom, then drill a couple of inches into the centre of the stub which helps it to such up water.

Our tree went up today. We've had it for 6 years and I'm contemplating taking it down and buying a new one! Plus my son attached it with literally every ball we had in the box and I think it's over done now lol

Love your tree OP! Blinking love Christmas trees, I could happily forget about everything else, the food, the gifts etc and just have a tree in my living room for a month and be quite satisfied!
