Here is our tree. We really wanted an angel for the top but couldn't find one anywhere, so got a star instead. I've always liked a 'no colour scheme, no real order' tree. I love a complete mix of colours in terms of decorations, tinsel and lights.

Lovely sparkling

FantasticBeasts · 18/12/2016 19:00

It is lovely sparking, very co-ordinated Xmas Grin.

demented, the Jeremy Fisher search came up with lots of Jeremy Fisher decorations on US eBay. Nothing camp, sparkly or this side of the ocean though.

firsttimemum15 · 18/12/2016 19:12

Ive missed jeremy fisher

BroomstickOfLove · 18/12/2016 19:16

We've just put ours up!

I'll take a better photo of Jeremy Fisher...Actually, we only call him that after seeing the Beatrix Potter ballet and he seemed so like the character..

dementedma · 18/12/2016 20:02

Here he is....

FantasticBeasts · 18/12/2016 20:31

He is spectacular Xmas Grin, I wonder if he is a 'Lord a Leaping'?

I seriously want one.

FunkyChunk · 18/12/2016 22:07

Finally got ours up this evening! It's our very first real tree and I'm absolutely converted. No theme, lots of random bits and bobs but I love them all Smile

Gorgeous.

dillite · 19/12/2016 11:26

This is our tree, watched over by our reindeer dog. I tend to use the same random decs every year as they are ones I have collected over the years on my travels/ pricey shops. They do not match, but who gives a damn? It still looks beautiful.

Mild tree panic here. We have been abroad for two weeks got back last night. DS agreed to go to 'our' tree buying place, armed with measurements, get ours along with his, place in bucket of water ready for our return.
DH has just been out to look and came back to say it is rather on the huge size. 'I looked at it, looked up and kept on going up, it's like the Burj Khalifa. Might need trimming".
He's prone to exaggeration, but I guess I need to get up and see for myself.

ILoveGreekCats · 20/12/2016 07:09

This is my sister -in- law's this year. She hasn't got any cats. She does however have a seven year old 😐

Greek what's having a seven year old got to do with an upside down tree? [confised] A 7 year old knows not to ruin the tree!

ILoveGreekCats · 20/12/2016 08:00

What I meant to say was that I don't think it's very exciting for a 7 year old. But maybe I'm just a grump!

user1477282676 · 20/12/2016 08:07

I agree with you! It's a weird tree to have when Christmas is meant to be mainly for children to enjoy.

Ditsy4 · 20/12/2016 08:29

I haven't got mine yet. Loving this thread. DD comes home today so we will get one today hopefully.

tinselknickers · 20/12/2016 08:42

I'd love a real one but I have previous form for the dead tree still in the garden at Easter Blush

Everyone's trees are beautiful! I love this thread (not even looked at all the pics yet) it's so nice to have something happy to look at it.

Ours is just a skinny tree but I love it especially as t only cost me £2.50 in the sales several years ago Our decorations are completely mismatched but nearly all of them have either been made by one of the dcs or given to them over the years so all have special memories. They both have their own mini trees in their rooms too. Loving our fireplace atm too Xmas Smile

I don't think Christmas is mainly for children but yes it's an unusual tree. Looks like it matches her decor though and some people (my Dsis) like that.

EnidButton · 20/12/2016 16:55

Your tree was made for that spot Good it's perfect! We have a real tree but in the dining room we have a small faux tree that we got for £5 a couple of years ago and it makes feel really pleased. Xmas Grin I've put in in a basket and it looks like it cost ten times that. Love your fireplace.

tinsel Beautiful room! And gorgeous tree.

Snog · 21/12/2016 07:50

All the trees are so beautiful and so different!
I made my own wreath at the weekend at a wreath making workshop, here it is!
