Tesco delivery has just arrived. Miraculously there was one substitute - white muffins!! Hardly worthy of a mention but I couldn't fault the driver. On time, well packed and helpful. Was worth paying £4.00 for a stress free shop.

I'm now pondering where to start with fridge jenga...

Pregnancy insomnia has got the better of me and I'm snuggled on the sofa wondering if it is too early to start prepping, or if I should go to tesco just in case (food twitching) or if I should just lay here with a cuppa enjoying the quiet.

If I don't manage to make a visit back today I wish you and yours the happiest of Christmases, thank you for the Christmas chat this year and I look forward to our 2016 Christmas countdown.

Just been wrapping presents for late sleeping teens. Then gym, Tesco, local shopping centre (to collect item that DD informed me was her top gift) , then finally relaxed food prep followed by walk, church and home for film, hot choc and The Night Before Christmas.
Better get off MN and start moving!

Christmas Eve squeeeeeeee

I wandered round to the local shops to buy bread (traffic queues and parking were grim so I'm glad I didn't drive)

I need to get off MN too, my laptop is on the table and I sort of need that for food !

DH is watching an old Sherlock on Alibu, DC are in their rooms larding about.
Waiting for the family to arrive (Calm Before The Storm) then we'll have dinner before DSiL goes to church .

Compulsary photos of the guinea-pigs in their new hats will be done.

I'm wearing my Christmas top not a jumper, it's a cotton long sleeved with winter trees and sequins.
Tomorrow I have a green sequinny jumper .

On with the last bits of prep now ....................

Merry Christmas to you all. I hope you enjoy the day we have been waiting for so eagerly. I always have a feeling of sadness on Christmas Eve because all of the anticipation is over. Best wishes to all of my fellow countdowners who have made the journey to Christmas so enjoyable.
